Your missing the point. What if no rookies are playing the week Sandi gets rested? What will people do then?
What if Sandi doesn't get rested before the byes? Its all hypotheticals at this stage

Its not without risk, but I think its a risk wprth taking. 300k player, can average 100+, can make me 200k+ vs 50/50 chance of one donut somewhere in the first 8 or 9 rounds. Worth the risk.

Pretty much what I'm thinking... dream situation he doesn't cop a vest or injury before the byes, and I'm just hoping he averages 95, though he can easily average 110. Make a bunch of cash, to be honest if he's averaging over 100 at the byes I'll keep him, until he breaks down. If he goes the entire season (which I doubt) he could easily be a top ruck.

Exactly what Rico said, it's all hypotheticals. If he plays, it's pretty safe to assume he'll average over 90, and therefore making you a lot of cash. If he goes down injured, then the risk doesn't pay off and it costs you 1-2 trades (depending on what round he goes down).

Of course it's a risk. But it's a calculated risk.
Anything can happen in this game but it would b very very unlikely he will b rested as early as rnd 4...

I don't want sandi, his body is a joke. But seriously, how can u leave him out. Way too much upside.

eaglesman

sandi will average 90+ .... no sign of any issue this preseason so you have to back this bloke in

he will boss young little grundy around in round 1
give a free lesson to the suns in round 2
and will big boy and make mcevoy look little in round 3 ...

after round 3 those that dont have him will be crying

What will you do if one of your rucks gets injured, rested, reported..? The same thing.
Sandi is a risk but its his price that makes the risk worth taking. He only needs to last up until the byes not all season

Move Dixon from the FWDS into the Rucks ;)

Typhnn

what 'thefuzz' said...

Have Thurlow on bench in rucks, pick Dixon up forward.... and worst case scenario time to do the weekly SC shuffle...!!!

Bully

There's a few ways to deal with a Sandi insurance policy.

#1. Pick up Charlie Dixon as F3, F4 and use him as cover in the event Sandi gets vested or misses a game.

#2. Depending on the injury, have an extra 30k in the bank and upgrade to Hmac.

#3. If Hmac doesn't appeal, upgrade to Grundy.

#4. Simply be prepared for a double remedial trade to get a premo ruckman.

If going with option #6, proceed to step #7 Don't bother with SC :P

Haha. I feel Naitanui and Lobbe is the go for me! Still have a solid team all round just think lobbe will out score Sandi. And the extra 150k doesn't bother me too much!

Haha yeah nothing wrong with that combo mate ;) Especially with the news that Redden will be out for 10 weeks after knee surgery!
