That's pretty harsh, if you don't like it that much then flower off. Could of said it more nicely.

Obviously Monty has put heaps into this site so get stuffed.

In saying that, I think the logo in the linked thread looks amaaaazing!

m0nty, aren't you forgetting this thread...

Your new logo is still stuck in the 2000s, like your site and forum. Harsh but honest.

The advantage of stuff done in the 2000s is that it was simple, functional and lightweight. In the age of mobile browsing, keeping it light is more important than ever. Not everyone has limitless bandwidth.

I purposely don't allow things like images in signatures because that leads to unreadable pages IMO. Perhaps you could link to examples of what you're looking for in terms of forum design?

I am trying to update through embracing jQuery. It's not easy, but I'm working through it.

@monty - I assume you are switching to jQuery so you can improve (make easier ;) ) AJAX?

Not really, I have been trying to make the mobile version a lot better as the main improvement. It's a slow process.

Sorry mate, just to be clear. Is that logo in thread ruled out as an option?

I think so, yes.

Vinny

Oh :( I really really liked that one, haha. Oh well!

Master Q

The logo on my tab is now a triangle with a strike through it instead of the FF logo  :P

Me too so is this an issue m0nty or by design.  If by design do not like it as it is just black and white and not easily discernible against other sites open on tool bar.

m0nty

Ooh no, that's a bug, that is the SMF logo. I'll get onto that today.

m0nty

Fixed. Tricky little one.

Ringo

Thanks m0nty - now ok.

Ringo

Sorry m0nty but seems to have reverted again today after being OK yesterday.
