Nevermind the beheading videos, what I saw last night made me want to cry and vomit at the same time. It was a police training video from the Port Arthur massacre which showed every single victim in the position they were found. The whole thing was pure horror but the kids were the ones who really got to me.

The guy suffered severe bullying and rejection throughout school, was borderline mentally-retarded and autistic, his good friend Helen Marie Harvey died in a car accident in 92, which he was involved in and spent 7 months in hospital, his dad committed suicide not long after, and he was socially isolated for years. He had six suicide attempts before the event.

Kind of feel sorry for him; don't take this as me in any way condoning what he did- that's the last thing I want it to seem like I'm doing, but it was not as bad as those who do mass murders purely out of rage or for fun like what happened in Nanping, terrorist attacks or, worst of all, the Chardon High School shooter.

tl;dr there are two sides to every story and being a social reject, mixed with deaths and mental illness, can drive people to do things like this.

Seen a few similar videos like above and regret it but I think seeing my ex girlfriends grandma's body was the worst and I can't get the image out of my head... Couldn't leave and didn't want to as we were really close but at the same time I can't get the image of her blank paled face out of my head to this day. Helped bury her too and wasn't in a coffin.
