Rookies after 150k I should look out for!

TheMoops

obviously see who's named round 1 but Battersby is an early tout.

Mr.Craig

It's looking ugly, real ugly. Hoping one or two will pop out of the woodwork eventually.

Ugly indeed, Cutler & Fuller have impressed but no guarantees. As for Battersby, I'm a fan, was keen for him to land at Richmond, but he still needs to be promoted to the main list. At the moment it's KK & McDonald, both are awkwardly priced as well, might have to dig deep here. Joel Tippett could be a goer, but he's also a rookie.

Could be we have to have 180 - 250k players on the bench lets hope some young cheapies pop up

im thinking of going like 3 gun over 500k then Suckling and then 2 really cheap rookies starting on the field because imo Starting with Fuller and Cutler will probably end up being the same as starting with KK and McDonald and I wouldn't mind an extra 200k

Who will you have on the bench then? I think we will be lucky to have 2 cheap back rookie options to select from let alone 4.

Clurey may be worth watching out for.. :)

Nice mature-ager ready to go, although he was a rookie last year, was he promoted?

Maggie May

I did read somewhere that Clurey from Port could be one too watch, though that could be a forum post so don't know how reliable the intel is though.  It could also be worth watching Laidler from the Swans.  A little awkwardly priced at $161k but the Swans targeted him for a reason (I don't know what it is) but if they had a particular role in mind it could mean he at least has good js.  Worth watching through NAB Cup.

Realistically though based my structure I only need 4-6 players under $200k to emerge.  Hopefully more will emerge to diversify the selections amongst coaches but 4-6 will allow me to maintain my current structure.

PICCOLLO

Not too many sure things out there.  Probably KK and Fuller, potentially Mcdonald.  I'd be inclined to have a slightly stronger back line this year to allow for the lack of quality rookie prospects who'll play regularly.  4-4 probably the way to go or 4-1-3 even. (4 quality, 4 rookies)

Keeper27

what are your thoughts on a premo as D1 (mitchell/mcveigh/bartel) and 4 mids (D2-D5) like atley/williams/smith/suckling and 3 rookies (Mcdonald/laidler/fuller)

atley/smith with more mid time & williams/suckling?? if all can avg 80-90, you'd only lose a bit of points in the backline but can trade em out after the byes. plus you're only playing 1 rookie on the field.

At the moment im going with 5 premiums plus kk, mcdonald and fuller, would love a bottom priced rookie to pop up tho so I can save some money for other lines
