You'd have to go with Murphy as you Mids will be sacrificing to much from your other lines with 4 expensive premos and Beams. I'm currently rocking Ablett/Pendles/Murph/Beams/Thomas and i'm finding it hard to even upgrade Thomas without sacrificing any other lines servery and you could be opting for 2 more than me.... IMO Murphy's value is too good to miss and in your situation you should definitely opt for the cheaper guy.

Thanks for the feedback mate.
This is my team. I don't think the other lines are too weak, and mids is where you get the most points. I think I could get a good start with my mids.

Mitchell Simpson Lumumba Suckling KK McDonald.        Laidler Fuller
Ablett Pendlebury Watson ....... Beams Martin Cripps Dunstan.     Crouch Taylor
Naitanui Sandilands.     Nankervis Thurlow
Dangerfield Martin Franklin Pav Fasolo Kersten.     Impey Garlett

Yeah its not too bad but at this stage, it doesn't look like 4 back rookies will get up for Round 1. If they do then i too would downgrade a back guy to a Rookie and then Thomas to like Wato/Rocky etc with some extra coin to bring in more expensive rookies. My backs are Mitchell, McVeigh, Thompson, Simpson, Suckling, Mcdonald, so a far bit stronger. But yeah, its far to hard to tell and lock in structures at this satge as i have a feeling a lot less rookies from all lines will get up for round 1 then everyone thinks.

EDIT: I think we might be forced to add a few 250-300k players scattered around all lines to fit in the premiums we want but also to have everyone from your team on the park playing.

Yeah your defence is strong as. Just checking, which mid out of these will score the most for the year?

I think Cotchin will push close to 120 this year which would put him first out of the whole group but still like Murph's value and i believe will go 110-115.

GoLions

I think Sloane is the best option there, however Daisy is amazing value and should make you 150k+ and really needs to be considered. The cash saved can improve other parts of your team as well, such as being able to afford the best rookies that get named round 1, or getting an extra premium player in defence.

Sabretooth Tigers

 :)
I like Scooter, who is a regular in and out of my drafts. Eagles have a good starting draw and I think the worst you could do with him is make money.  Cheers.     ;)

shaker

Fyfe Cotchin or Murphy whichever helps you in the bye rounds

Fid

Sloane or maybe Cunnington (my breakout prediction)

Hagebear

Cotchin for me. I think he's just about ready to be the best player in the comp. Big call but I don't think he's far away.

_wato

Cotchin 100%.

Think he'll become a keeper, plus so many people are underrating him on this forum and nobody has him! Should be a POD and he's underpriced! Wow

i have cotchin in now :P ... i dont like how u have said "he'll become a keeper" he should be a lock for a keeper if ya picking him bud

i seriously think scooter will jump out of the blocks and be leading the brownlow after 5 games (big call)

_wato

I have Cotchin as 100% mate, how is that not a lock?

Plus he wasn't a keeper last year as he was plagued by injuries  but this year I think he will! People won't agree and that's the reason I said I think he will, not 'he will' :)
