Rookies in the midfield

Its a big risk. I would have said 3 at max. Trengove, Barlow and Martin are the only ones I would risk. Maybe throw in Scully in the reserves. Morabito, Bastinac, Shuey and Banner will play games but probably not 22 and score well. But it could work for you. Good luck.

I am willing to lose games at the start and run with 5 rookies on the field. It's risky as hell but the upside would be great if I pull it off!

Even if they only play the 3 games you get to cash in at best...

Ok I am putting this out there to see who else is going to take a big risk!

In the mid I have Ablett and 7 rookies incl bench...

I have 850k left in the bank and I am taking the chance that a few of these rookies will incease so I can use the cash to up grade to a prem player.

This way I get a look at which prem players are doing best. I have a better chance to increase my valued rookies. I could get a prem mid field by halfway into the year with a strong run home. Lot of cash in the bank to buy up.

It could cost me a lot in trades and the rookies flop. I would lose a few games due to low scores.

Anyone see the risk vs return and willing to take the punt  ???

You are Insane, but i guess it could work. One problem is you will only get i'd say 3 of them playing each week :-\

this theory can only be to eventually win your league ( maybe ).

That is if you are not too far behind to make the 8.

Also you might as well not compete in the eliminator

I like seeing people trying something different.

You'll have to pick your rookie midfielders very carefully, and decide extremely carefully when to trade them out.

too risky. need 1 or 2 premiums to keep the mids steady and also for captain duties.

i'm going with 3 rookie midfield. risky but not too risky imo.

i think there was another post with an all rookie mid posted on here a few days ago.

every midfield should have at least 3 midfielders and 1 or 2 midiocre players who will raise in value e.g. armitige, masten etc.

How many rookies are people starting on the field in the midfield? I currently have have 2 but would like to free up some money so am considering to starting another one. Martin, Trengove and Barlow. Would this be to great a risk?

im starting 2, but no offence if you read through some older posts you could find the answer yourself
