Rare mistake from the best/2nd best defender won you the game. Yeah, what a response.
A bitter Man United supporter appeared!

How's the weather so far down the ladder?

Keeper27

Gerrards reaction after the game was perfect.
he told the boys not to get a big head. its done. continue the form onto Norwich next week.

he truly does deserve a premier league title.
when he wins it he'll have won all team titles a captain can win in England.

tbagrocks

Go away troll, I'm a Chelsea fan  ::)

Keeper27

win or lose the title, Rodgers easily deserves the Manager Of The Year Award.
he took a team that finished 7th and took them to the top of the league.
most goals. turned Anfield into a fkn fortress. 15 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss.
undefeated since January

won the most Player of the month awards too. 4 (should be 5, suarez/gerrard tied once)
and tied 1st for Manager of the Month awards.

Martinez/Rodgers/Pochettino for MOTY.

As for the bitterness. Just spilling the truth. United have done shower this year, ofcourse. But Moyes.

The biggest load of crap I've seen on the net this year.

The Football League has been going since the 1880's or so why wouldn't you start something from the word go instead of a random year of 1958 missing the great years of the Busby babes with the team decimated by the Munich Air disaster of 1956.

So whoever has done this has gone for a starting point when it was all in Liverpools favour.

Some scouser has been playing with himself.

Andrew3747

lol @ calling anyone a scouser on this forum. It's like calling myself a manc. The 2 words have nothing to do with the football team and everything to do with geographic location.

Keeper27

I wouldn't put all the blame on Moyes.
And im a Liverpool fan.

Yes Moyes was given a championship team, but an aging one.
3 of their best back 4 are old as fk.

Overrated mids. Sure Carrick does his job but when United played well he didn't look so bad.
They still quality but usually played out of position.
Kagawa perfect example. Killed it in bundesliga playing in the hole behind the striker.
Where does he mainly play at United? On the wing.
Same with Mata (waste of money in the bigger picture scheme)
What I mean by that is that United have many positions to fix before getting another that plays the same position as Kagawa.
Sell off cleverly. Muppet. He'd struggle to get a spot at teams from 5th to 12th.

Quality fwds. Rooney is a beast. One of the best CF in a long time.
Hernandez quality too (doesn't get played)

Moyes done well with what he had at Everton.
And I seriously think given time he can do a Rodgers and turn that club around.

I'm not bagging United its just the truth.

Liverpool needs a few fixes too.
1. Need  1 maybe 2 quality CBs. Too many simple errors have cost valuable points.
2. Sell of Johnson. Going fwd he's great. Doesn't defend enough to justify his huge wages.
3. Luke shaw. Young hungry and can replace Johnson.
4. Lucas. Love the bloke but can't play a whole season. Unlucky with injuries. Defensive mid who has great passing.
5. Find a long term replacement for Gerrard. An attacking box to box mid. Love the guy but he's getting on.
6. Depth for champions league next season. Suso comes back.
7. Keep that positive spirit that changed our season around.
8. Give Rodgers a long term contract and don't let barca poach him. He was quality at Swansea and quality now at Liverpool.

Sorry that this is long.

I wrote it mate and I clearly stated at the bottom of the first post if you cared to read it that

# note both LFC & MUFC won an extra 5 league titles before 1958

Andrew3747

Have you not watched a single game of Moyes in charge? It's the same shower over and over. Build up from the back, to the FB's, to the wingers and cross. There is no central play. This is why every United fan is up in arms. We get owned in the centre of the park against every EPL team. Its a complete joke.

Keeper27

Yes i do watch United games.
And yes Moyes does get the blame but not all of it is his fault.
If your players aren't behind you how can any manager succeed?

Liverpool were in the same way with Hodgson.

Give him time. Let him build a team he can use.
And let him get rid of the garbage and replace em with players that can play his style of football.

Andrew3747

I would be fine if he was experimenting. However he is not. Same gameplan time after time. I don't want to give this guy time if he can't adjust. losing to all Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool does not go down with me. We used to the same tactics in all the games and got the same result. I don't understand it and neither does anyone else.

Keeper27

Having a similar game plan works only IF the players are behind the manager.
If the players aren't behind the manager even a tactical genius like pep, mourinho, and fergie would struggle.

Andrew3747

He loses the players by playing a 70's style game that isn't suited to RVP, Rooney, Mata etc. These are all central players who thrive when the ball is in the centre of the pitch. Yet Moyes throws Mata on the left/right and tells him to cross the ball in. RVP is like 5'10 and loves the ball at his feet.

Rooney while having a "good" season with scorepoints is playing quite poorly. He can't be the man in the centre while Mata is in the side. He played excellently when Ronaldo was in the side and he played on the left. Do the same.
