Bye structure of 3-3-2/4-2-4/0-2-2/2-3-1 for an 11-10-9 split

Not sure who to go with my M2. Have enough cash for the likes of Selwood, Swan, Johnson and Watson. If I go for the more expensive midfielder then I have to stay with Sandilands but if I decide to stay with Watson then I can upgrade to Grundy. I'd like to know what you guys think of Watson and Grundy or Griffen/Swan/Johnson and Sandilands

Jelwood M2 for me... I don't see Grundy as an upgrade over Sandi, you'll probably end up trading either one and I would expect Sandi to post bigger scores. Sandi is a proven 100+ player who has lacked durability in the last 2 seasons. With a bit of luck they've got his injuries better managed and he can post a 100 average for the first 8-9 games, allowing an upgrade to someone like Goldy/Minson/whoever during byes. Grundy I don't see managing that, hasn't played a full season or scored as well historically. Taking a big gamble on his scores skyrocketing as the pies main ruckman...

Def: Very strong defense. Like the choice of Thompson as I haven't seen him in many teams.
Mids: standard mid. I'd probably go with swan/Selwood rather than having Watson IMO. Not a have of Murphy. No Lewis Taylor in your forward or mid? Might have to get onto that rookie. Absolute gun who will get games and at a steal price of $117,300 from memory.
Rucks: standard rucks.
Forwards: Like the Gunston pick. I've also got him. Really think that he will go another level especially with the departure of Buddy.

I'd probably try and get Taylor in somewhere, most preferably in your fwd. IMO, I'd get rid of fasolo for him and that will leave you with more cash to help put with your ruck problem.

Goodluck! :)

Def: Pretty strong.  Hard to fault here.
Mids: Bit dangerous leaving Ablett out.  A lot of teams seem to be going the Ablett/Pendles combo.  Stevens a nice POD.  Surprised you don't have Lewis Taylor in either your mids or fwds.  He seems to be getting big raps so far.
Ruc: Pretty standard.  No problems here.
Fwd: Looks a little weak with Gunstan at F3.  Personally I think if your going to for a 3/3 structure, you want 3 top forwards, but then again I've got Gunstan in at F4 currently because I think he can break out a bit now that Buddy's not there.  Your last 3 starters carry a bit of risk, watch them closely in the NAB Cup.  I also think that with this structure you need to make sure that your bench rookies are getting games for cover.

Nice team. Can't really fault except for the fact that i'm not keen on having both of Lobbe and Sandilands in the rucks, but that could be easily fixed after a downgrade in the backline. Otherwise it looks good.

Very solid team. Only thing I would say is I'm not sure about Jackson Paine's JS. Unless you have seen somewhere that he is likely to play. Watch his NAB Cup along with Polec's  and Rohan's. Also if you can afford it, go from Hogan to Clark. Not sure about Hogan cause he is a first year KPP.

Plenty of POD's so you are brave in some areas... may need to wait for NAB form before I can really comment on it.

Cant fault the backline. I like the Mid also with DPP Garlett.
Definitely keen on Grundy in the ruck (he is my neighbour and Witts has a troublesome shoulder so he will be Pies only Ruckman other than B Hudson) and a great POD as I have not seen his name in any other teams.
Fwd-Mitch clark in big doubt for Rnd 1 so keep another option open.
Good luck.
