m0nty's legal team should begin the petition. After all, the failing of the server has impact on FanFooty's earning potential. I mean, I'm not coming to this site and seeing the attached advertisements if I'm no longer interested in playing the game because of frustration caused by inoperative services.

It seems these dumbo's haven't got a clue on how to run things or ensure they have enough capacity for the traffic flow...I even got an email from them tell me my NRL fantasy wasn't complete even though I'm not doing this only AFL....

It's not uncommon for sites to crash in these situations, sudden rushes of traffic bring down the best of them. The message about experiencing very heavy traffic is basically there to give them an out. The fact is, they should have known this was coming.

The AFL would have excellent statistics on number of teams registered, and their analytics from recent years would give them very good indicators and predictors of times when high traffic could be expected.

They knew all this and yet they still have crashed so catastrophically... it is very very poor and doesn't bode well for the rest of the season lockouts.

Expect to hear that they have boosted their servers and added all kinds of measures to prevent it happening again, but it's your call whether you believe it.

  Think I might wait till 2-3 am  once the numbers thin out,  hopefully will be easier to get it done by then.  Have 3 comps sorted just AF to go.

All the traffic for AFL and NRL fantasy are going through the same channel. It's a fact that by the looks of it all they have bitten off way more than they can chew... They should of added more servers / capacity onto their network to handle it all. AFL have some blame for it since its them who made the changes to this comp and went to Fanhub...

Traffic to their links would have increased easily by more than 1000% and unless your increase your bandwidth to handle this then your site goes cableway....

You appear to have education in information technology :) In your opinion how long will it take to die down? Also after the major log off will they have to repair the servers (maintenance work) or will they instantly function effectively?

This is ridiculous. I demand my money back for Assistant Coach or whatever the 2014 equivalent is.

I'm Doing the Nrl Fantasy as well, Same thing happened... Watch out for wrong stats, missing players, phantom trades and cheating... During the extended lock out people have been able to trade in players and change their reserves to inflate their scores...

One person even entered a team after the lock out and ended up getting credited with the round one scores and is now top of the table....

Worse is yet to come...

Also those of you that purchase the fantasy coach you will be severely let down..... It doesn't work.....

Also no live scores as well in the first round of the nrl....
