JONATHAN Brown is in doubt for round one with a nagging foot injury continuing to dog the champion Brisbane Lion.

"What happens over the next two to three weeks will determine whether he'll be right for round one or not," Warren said.

No surprise here. Have not been to a training session for new year yet but Brown was still in moon boot prior to Christmas.

Hope to get to the intraclub trial match next week to see how things are going. Hopefully not raining as it has been this week.
