Heres my team:
$34,700
I think the Byes were 11/10/9

Def: McVeigh, Mitchell, Simpson, Suckling, Kolodjashnij, McDonald (Fuller and Battersby)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Fyfe, Beams, Murphy, Martin, Beams, Morabio ( Dunstan and O'Rouke)
Ruc: Sandilands and Grundy (Lobb and Nankervis)
Fwd: Dangerfield, Martin, Wingard, Franklin, Clark, Garlett (Taylor and Honeychurch)

I love the team the only problem is that I currently can't afford to fit expensive mid rookies like: Elis, Tyson, Michie, Aish

shaker

Not a bad team but I would be more concerned with weak and risky rucks and no money left to fix it if it goes pear shaped

DEF - i personally dont like playing 2 rookie DEFs weekly, McVeigh/Mitchell will be the best 2 DEF come years end. Simpson should go 95+, suckling is a must at that price.

MID - GAJ/Pendles are freaks, Fyfe/Beams/Murphy should improve, better to start with JMart and to downgrade than finding an extra 100K and upgrading.

RUC - slightly weak though i think both should improve.

FWD - F1-4 are strong. Dusty playing DEF now, Buddy back to his best without contract distractions.

Not the greatest of teams but you team to take some risks to be competitve.
Def: Your decision for starting 2 rookies will  be decided after the NAB CUP.Also probably because you are wanting to save money. You have 3 top premiums there
Mids: If Fyfe can improve his Kicking he will be a top 10 mid so he could be a good unique pick this year. As for Morabito he needs a change of Luck it will be interesting to see when he returns to the starting 22. No Probs with the others
Rucks: I think Grundy will average 100 this year. Hopefully Sandi can play enough matches to make you money.
Fwds: Good depth up Fwd Dusty will play in def more often this year.

The only risk you have taken is in the ruck apart from the 2 rookies in def. Also not having alot of salary cap may come to haunt you you may want to consider Dixon up forward with thurlow on the ruck bench..  I give your team a 7/10

Defence: is exactly the same as mine with every player so I kind of am obliged to say its good but I would like to see only 1 rookie.

Midfield: Again strong but I think you could downgrade Murphy to Thomas as they will score close to the same and Thomas is allot cheaper comes down to whether he is healthy I guess. apart from that it is looking strong.

Rucks: Sandi is good but I don't like Grundi and don't see him scoring more than 85 which is not what you want for a ruckman maybe if he was your second ruck but your first ruck should be getting close too 100 and I think with your downgrade in the midfield with Murphy>Thomas you should have enough money to get the likes of Pyke, Lobbe or Jacobs instead of Grundie

Forward: First 4 could possibly be the best 4 in the game at seasons end so I would keep them Clark is a injury in the waiting but I also am going with him and your 3 rookies are looking good.

Master Q

Sandi + Grundy is a recipe for disaster.

Sandi needs to be coupled with a more reliable ruckmen.
