Master Q

First time I have done something like this, but I will try and do my best.

So post your teams below and I will rate them  ;) My team should be up soon, but when it is, if you guys could return the favour, that would be great  ;)

Thanks
Q

No worries Senior. Thanks for posting your team.

Very similar team to mine.

DEF: Solid. Haven't been a fan of Hanley in the past but I'm sure he'll produce some solid numbers.
MID: Not a fan of expensive MID rookies like Martin, sure he'll score well but will he score THAT much more than guys 50-100k cheaper?
RUC: Solid
FWD: Not sold on Wingard and Pavlich - even Bock. Rohan ain't a bad pick if he plays.

Overall, a strong team. Room for improvement though, specifically in the forward line.

Thanks man :)

DEF: Seen a few people hype up Seedsman. Your risk  ;)
MID: Stanton needs to go.
RUC: Very weak. Grundy is still a second year player, Berger not the best out there.
FWD: Alright. Thoughts on Caddy? Otherwise pretty strong.

Montagna is not reported so not playing Round 1. Otherwise who do you take out when you make those changes?

Not a bad start. Could make some improvements though, that's for sure.

DEF: Double Shaw?
MID: Very good.
RUC: Nothing too complain about.
FWD: Not a fan of Wingard fantasy wise.

Nice team, just need to fiddle here and there.

shower how did I forget Montagna was suspended.. what a good supporter I am :P

to put Montagna in I got rid of Rockliff, and vice versa, same with Caddy and Varcoe

on Caddy, I remember reading something a couple days ago saying he was ready for a good shot in the midfield, and the Cats are obviously strong there so he might get a bit of the ball

chucked Stanton in because every chance he'll start the year with a bang again, and don't wanna miss out if he does... but there's also every chance he won't and that's where I'm 50/50 on him

I think Grundy will be number 1 ruck at the Pies, and he's a freak.. the second year blues are a worry but I think he'll still be awesome. I had McEvoy and changed to Berger so that's an easy swap back to Macca if necessary.

cheers for the review man, looks like I've got a bit to work on ;) (P.S should I have put this post in the thread?)

Master Q

Yeah post whatever you like haha.

Think your combos are all good unless I am reading them wrong (bit confusing)  :P

TEAM NAME: Dave's Legends
DEF: J. McVeigh, S. Mitchell, K. Simpson, J. Grimes, D. Swallow, M. Suckling (L. Roberts-Thomson, C. Howard)
MID: D. Swan, G. Ablett jnr, T. Rockliff, D. Beams, D. Thomas, D. Tyson, C. Beams, D. Garlett (X. Ellis, J. Polec)
RUC: D. Cox, A. Sandilands (S. Michael, S. Naismith)
FWD: P. Dangerfield, D. Martin, L. Franklin, M. Pavlich, M. Clark, A. Fasolo (N. Bock, M. Honeychurch)
CASH LEFT: $3,400

Considering going Leuey over Cox
Could drop a premium defender to a rookie and (using the cash from going Cox-->Leuey as well) possibly bring in another premium mid
I'm a noob at DT/AF :P

Hey Dave, thanks for the post.

DEF: Wow, that is one strong midfield. Definitely get rid of Grimes and free up cash, Swallow being next in the pecking order. LRT is good for cover but won't make much money.
MID: There are alternatives to Tyson. Michie?
RUC: Yeah I'd get rid of Cox. Have you considered Lobbe or McEvoy?
FWD: Pretty strong. Not a massive fan of Pav in fantasy and think Fasolo could cop a few vests, let alone play Round 1.

Pretty good effort Dave, but tweaking needs to be done  ;)

Yeh man Heath Shaw and his bro up at Sydney, who is priced about the same price as KK and you would think would have better output at this stage of their careers.
Who would you recommend changing Wingard too I don't like the look of a lot the forwards to be honest

Have considered Lobbe, but not McEvoy. I really don't know who solid ruck options are in DT, and just saw Cox with the highest average, haha.
I'll make some changes and see what I end up with. Cheers mate :)

I'm not a fan of either of the Shaws, but it's your team. KK is supposed to be one of the best rookies so he could easily outscore Rhyce, let's see how he goes in the NAB Challenge first though. You could downgrade him to Chappy, or try squeeze in someone like NRoo?
