FanFooty's most famous thread is back!

Ask me a Player v Player question and I will look at the stats, and give you my honest opinion!

If you could leave the answering to me, that would be great, if you would like to discuss something in-depth make a thread!  :) I am going to try and get to everybody as well  ;)

Thanks
Master Q

Mr.Craig

Getting warmed up for your postathon aye?

How about Prestia vs Liberatore, Dom Tyson vs Clinton Young and Jed Anderson vs Viv Michie. ;)

Warmed up? This is it!

Prestia v Libba
Both these guys cemented themselves in their 22s in 2013 and averaged nearly the exact same. I feel that Libba is more of a SC'er and has more room for improvement in that game, while I think if Prestia can build up his consistency he can improve his DT game (and average). Saying that, and 520k-odd each, I'd stay away from both. At the start of the season at least.

Dom Tyson v Clinton Young
Both struggled for games last year. Same price as well. However, I think there is a much better chance of Tyson playing Round 1 in a Melbourne line-up than Young for the Pies. If Young somehow plays for Collingwood, he'd be a much better scorer than Tyson
who has been woeful in the past. For a Round 1 team, Tyson. That being said, better options than both IMO.

Jed Anderson v Viv Michie
Toughy. You're the Hawks supporter so you'd probably know more about him than me. If he can avoid the vest and kick goals he can score decently, but Michie seems like a popular pick and looks like a great cash cow. I'd go for Michie at this stage.

Thanks for the questions, Mr.C
Leave me your thoughts!  ;)

Mr.Craig

Tyson will improve if he can actually get a good chunk of games. Even going back to his final year in the TAC his career has been a bit disjointed and the knee injury last season didn't help much. He was averaging 15.8 disposals in his debut year when the team was being annihilated and while Melbourne isn't much of a step up I think he could get to around 18 disposals and 65-68 DT. That would be a 150k price rise.

Dean Cox vs Matthew Leuenberger, thanks Q :)
Easy one. At Cox's price he just isn't worth the risk. However, I think there are some better options than Berger. So, if it is between these two I'd actually have to say Cox, but if you were to add someone like Lobbe or McEvoy, I'd have them ahead of both of Cox and Berger.

Cheers Q, what do you think each of these 4 guys will average? (if you don't mind me asking)

Lobbe - 90
McEvoy - 85
Cox - 80-85
Berger - 75

Hey Money, thanks for the question!

Seedsman v Swallow
Both seem to be very popular picks this year. But is is a very easy answer. Swallow showed very little scoring wise last year, while Seedsman didn't play every week, he still managed to pump out some big scores. So if you are choosing between these two guys, I'd pay the extra coin and get Seedsman.

Artax

I see some value in Seedsman, do you think he is worth a shot over Grimes? Both have their own element of risk!

For sure. Grimes is too injury prone for my liking, so anyone is better than him.

What are your thoughts of Wingard v Parker as F3

Don't like Wingard fantasy wise. Buddy is my F3 at this stage, he could even become F4 if I manage to squeeze in NROO ahead of Danger and Dusty who are locks IMO. Chappy is another good option.
