Could someone provide me a list of "must have" rookies for season 2014, or rookies that most teams should have?

Cheers!

No one will really know until closer to the start of the season.

We can only guess at the moment.

Agreed. But of the true rookies the only lock at this stage would be Dunstan.

Mr.Craig

"Must have" is subjective at this time of year but I think there's a good 20 or so rookies who could have a successful season. Whether that translates into fantasy gold is a different story entirely.

McDonald, KK, Martin, Dunstan, Sheed, Kelly, Aish, Crouch, Lennon, Garlett and Hogan all come to mind but there's a bunch of others who could just as easily pop up and make their mark, including the mature agers Fuller, Gordon, Gray and Brown.

Master Q

I'm not a North expert but I think McDonald is the 'biggest' must have rookie, Pre-NAB Challenge.

Stay away from Hogan.

To hard to decide yet. But from what i have read during preseason all the rookies metioned above are solid picks. With huge wraps about players like hogan, martin, mcdonald, sheed etc

pommyadam

because he's a debut-season KPP
regardless of the fact that he's had a year in the system already, it's his first year of AFL football - so i'd expect 60s at best from him

Then you consider his price too. One of the worst rookie picks fantasy wise.

The biggest must have?

Jack Martin... Don't let the price tag scare you

Memphistopheles

Luke McDonald, Jack Martin< Kade Kolodjashni and Dom Sheed are all expected to make an immediate impact in their first season.

Michie, Tyson, Polec, Ellis, Bock, Laidler. There are plenty of other rookie-priced players who could be must haves but, it really depends on who starts.

No point picking rookies at this stage. Choose your premiums and then pick the rookies when Round 1 teams have been announced.

I have Savage at M7 as a bit of a smokey, would you be rating Martin higher?

At 100k cheaper, yeh man. I like your Savage pick though

Think Savage could be goof but if I save the 100k & get Martin in it allows me to upgrade Currie to Longer at R3.

Alternatively downgrade Bartel to Hibberd @ D2 & upgrade Morabito to Martin @ M8
