Good point!

Yeah I'd be happy with that. If they get picked up during that period only, and provided they were on your list last, then yeah they can get added to your list (if your salary cap allows it)

Hi All,

After careful consideration which has been going on for quite a while now I have decided that I will no longer be continuing as co-coach of New York.

Work and life commitments have got to the point where my contribution to the coaching of the team is near non-existent and it really is not fair on RD that I continue to to be in the role.

This probably should have happened 12 months ago but anyways.

The breaking point I guess is that we have the draft coming up and some valuable picks in the top 10.  I have just had my work contract extended again for another year and I will be flat out until Christmas and then will be going away for 3 weeks (will be working when away) and don't have the time to contribute to make the best drafting decisions.

This has been a very enjoyable experience and a great fun over the last 4 years and hopefully in the future (maybe in an assistant role) I can come back into WXV.

We've spoken about this via PM at length, even last year too, but I just want to publicly thank AK

We've got along really well from the very first day we took over NY, and it's going to be weird without him, but I'm sure we'll see him back one day :)

Thanks for being a part of the comp AK! You slotted in perfectly from day dot, and I never had a bad experience with you.

All the best!

Context is a wonderful thing

But hey, at least I'll have fun building my own list. Doesn't take much skill to ride Ada's coattails
