As for Naismith, have you actually looked at his numbers? Basically the same as playing an OOP ruck! He's a scrub

If your OOP rucks are still scoring 70, then I dunno why you've been complaining this whole time.

Anyway, I'll be curious to see how we go this week because as long as we don't cop any late outs it's just Tyson + OOP ruck that we're now missing

Doesnt matter what he scores, he is "the man" at Sydney as he is their number 1 ruck.

68 aint to bad thats almost 30 more then an OOP.

Its basically the same value as like a 95 fwd/def to you as thats a 30 point upgrade on D4 F4.

Couldn't agree more. A 30 point gain is a 30 point gain, regardless of how it happens.

Leaving Zorko and pick 2 for Griffen and Corey Ellis. WOW.

Put Zorko, Scully and potentially Oliver in my team and remove Higgins (Griff and Ellis are already absent) and see if we're in the same position. Even if Ellis and Griffen were playing it'd still be grossly unjust. It wouldn't pass if the trade was done any time in the past 2 years or in the upcoming trade period.

Of course I know a ruck, even Naismith is better than OOP but we actually have a ruck who is clearly going through a rough patch in his career. I know it doesn't happen often, but a fit and firing Tippett is a big loss to our team

Might be a 20-30 point gain having Naismith, but I'm not paying insane overs for a poor player just because he has ruck status. Hope Tippett comes back, or chase a better ruck

Either way, we're OOP in the rucks and clearly plan on fixing that in the off season but in the meantime cut us a little slack. Can only play the cards we've been dealt

Most weeks he gives 50-60 with the odd 70-80 vs an 80+ player giving you 30-50. The amount we'd have to give up to get a Naismith type which is a loss of points elsewhere wouldn't be worth it overall

I think persisting with Tippett and OOP for now, while trying to get a better ruck is our best bet

Either way, it's our Achilles heel and costly

why not get all the rucks from 1 team?

no OOP and generally the back ups put up good numbers anyway.

Get all the rucks from one team then somebody changes clubs and screws it up, meaning you'll have to pay overs. Not worth it.

They are overs because as you well know it is hard to have one consistently playing

Example if we were to ask for tippet from you at EOS
Averaging 61 and being 31 next year he'd be worth practically nothing
