Birchall back in after the byes.

fingers crossed ill be able to name a full squad for the first time in a long time.

I reckon Birch's best SC days are well behind him now

Can't see him doing any better than 80. Still good for WXV, but not what he used to produce

I'll leave this here.

All my players are having good scores this round. Can I trust Lester to back up his 129? Absolutely not! Vardy is the only one I've got full faith in.

Jack Steele, Chris Masten and Brayden Fiorini can't get a game.
Griffen, Wells, B Murphy, Clay, McVeigh and Silvagni are injured.

They have Jeff.

We have Waite.

If Cairo can't beat us they are an absolute disgrace.

Look, I definitely agree, but you still have Bryce Gibbs and Nathan Wilson, it should still be a contest.

How will the ladder shape up?
A comprehensive guide to how the final WXV ladder may look.

None of these are my predictions, but instead purely stats based. I simulated the final 5 rounds of the 2017 WXV Season and found some interesting results.

What would happen if: The team higher on the ladder at Round 12 won their games?
The number in the bracket is where the team is currently ranked(after WXV Round 12).

PositionNameWinsLosses
1New Delhi Tigers(1)152
2Dublin Destroyers(3)134
3New York Revolution(2)134
4Rio de Janeiro Jaguars(5)134
5Seoul Magpies(4)125
6Pacific Islanders(7)107
7Mexico City Suns(8 )107
8Cairo Sands(6)98
9Christchurch Saints(10)98
10PNL Reindeers(11)98
11Berlin Brewers(9)89
12Toronto Wolves(12)710
13Moscow Spetsnaz(13)611
14Beijing Thunder(14)611
15Cape Town Cobras(15)512
16London Royals(16)512
17Tokyo Samurai(17)215
18Buenos Aires Armadillos(18)116
Notes:
- With this result we see 3 teams finish equal 2nd. Bringing percentage into it Dublin(107.82) would move to 2nd and push New York(103.18) to 3rd. Rio(102.89) could see themselves move up if they have a few big wins.
- Pacific(106.84) would hold 6th comfortably over Mexico(101.92).
- Cairo(102.36) would hold onto 8th due to superior percentage over Christchurch(97.96) and PNL(97.77)

What would happen if: The team averaging the most points won?
The number is what ranking the team is in points per game(after WXV Round 12).

PositionNameWinsLosses
1New Delhi Tigers(1)152
2Dublin Destroyers(2)134
3Seoul Magpies(3)134

6New York Revolution(10)116
7Cairo Sands(7)107
8Mexico City Suns(8 )107
9Toronto Wolves(11)98

13Beijing Thunder(6)710
14Moscow Spetsnaz(14)611
15Cape Town Cobras(15)512
16London Royals(17)413
17Tokyo Samurai(16)314
18Buenos Aires Armadillos(18)116

Notes:
- Dublin(107.82) would be just ahead of Seoul(106.55) due to percentage. Which could be a deciding factor in the Qualifying Final they'd play.
- Pacific(106.84) move above New York(103.18).
- Cairo(102.36) hold on for 7th over Mexico(101.92).

What "COULD" happen? #WorstCase

Beijing Thunder81813
Moscow Spetsnaz71814
Cape Town Cobras81815
London Royals101816
Tokyo Samurai111817
Buenos Aires Armadillos121818

Notes:
- No team has clinched a finals berth yet! Even the mighty NDT could somehow fall out of the 8!
- 15 teams are still theoretically in contention for the 8! Some more likely than others.
- London, Tokyo and Buenos have been eliminated but could each move up 6 spots if they have strong finishes to the year.

If you would like to complete your own predictions simply put a 1 next to each team you think is going to win and I can simulate a ladder for you. Simply change the "0" to a "1"

What would happen if: The team averaging the most over the last 5 rounds won?
The number in the bracket is where the team is ranked in total points over the last 5 rounds(WXV Round 7 thru 12).

PositionNameWinsLosses
1New Delhi Tigers(3)152
2Dublin Destroyers(2)134
3Seoul Magpies(1)134

15Cape Town Cobras(15)512
16London Royals(17)413
17Tokyo Samurai(16)314
18Buenos Aires Armadillos(18)116

Notes:
- Dublin(107.82) would be just ahead of Seoul(106.55) due to percentage and both ahead of Rio(102.89).
- Massive log jam from 5th to 9th.
- Pacific(106.84) have the best percentage of those 5 teams so they go to 5th.
- New York(103.18) the next best. Tough to see them going ahead of Seoul's percentage but they certainly could fall.
- Cairo(102.36) have a very tough finish to the year and could see their percentage hurt. 3 out of 5 wins guarantees a finals berth I recon.
- Mexico(101.92) would fancy their chances to get into the 8 and will be a danger game for whoever plays them in finals.
- Toronto(99.38) whilst don't have the percentage, have probably the easiest run home of all these teams and would like to think their percentage would go up.

Watch Guthrie knock out an 80+

Guthrie > Smith confirmed

Impressive! It only took him 15 weeks to get a debut this year!

Joel Smith is returning to the Vfl this week. Just see how long it takes for him to get back in the form team of the comp ;) (except for Sydney)
