So how would we know what the weather is if we weren't using real forecasts?

A good concept, but complications may be a little too much.

When Purps puts up the fixture, he'd also put up a randomly generated forecast

Could even simplify it.

Say its always wet when played at a wet teams home

Always dry at a dry teams home

If a wet team plays a wet team no need to adapt all square

If a dry plays a wet in the wet then they need to adapt or lose 50 point head start

Holz

Personally i hate it, its already way to complex with resting, leadership groups, floodings.

Have said it before - love your creativity Os but there's already enough going on in Worlds and that just puts more on our plate each week for what would most likely be a small impact on the end result

I'd honestly lose interest if something like that was implemented. Call me old fashioned, but I just want to trade during the trade period then name my team each week - that's enough fun for me  :)

I swear you were just complaining about tradition and wanted to disband the eurasis/aap game and have another trade period and now your old fashioned.....

Ha snap

I like it. If people think it's too complex then how do you manage to do things like cook toast when there's 2 pieces of equipment in addition to the ingredients? Plus who eats toast by itself? You're probably going to need a beverage to go with that so it's getting complicated now. I have faith in everyone here that they're able to cook toast.

What?

I clearly said I just want to trade when we can and name my team (with the current rules like flood, attack etc) and don't like the idea of having more rules and stuff to do because there's enough as it is, which is what the reference to being old fashion was

And yes, I don't care about Eurasia/AAP but I don't see how that has anything to do with what my initial statement was. Yes that's tradition and I don't mind it continuing at all - it's not a new rule that needs to be added on the top of the current long list of rules

I think you took a lot more out what I said than what I actually said. I simply agree with Holz and Nige, but just expanded

And meow, that comparison is just ridiculous and you know it :P

Except at Moscow, where the toast cooks you.

i like it

but

it's kinda like trading a pick for a player so do they need to be voted on?

like what if a team uses pick 5 on Lester or somebody not worth pick 5

If the team selecting him thinks he is worth pick 5, how is that any different from them selecting Oleg Markov if they think he is worth pick 5 even though they'd be the only person on the planet who thinks so? Should that be voted on too?

Markov definitely worth pick 5.
