So we're at the half way mark of the AFL season, and most teams have had their fair share of casualties which got me thinking - what type of players can you see yourself targeting in the 16/17 trade period?

For us, I think our midfield is where we will look to bolster mostly, but of course all lines will need development

Matt Jaensch retired, Jackson Thurlow ACL and then we've got guys like Aish that haven't come on quite as we expected. Then to top it off our depth guys aren't even available to cover! Tom Jonas (suspension), Ted Richards (concussion), Heritier (concussion), Michael Talia (foot), even Alipate flowerin Carlile (wrist/knee)!

Dunno... still reckon I got decent depth across the lines, and I don't expect Viney, Fyfe & Brad Crouch to be out (or shower) most weeks. But maybe another decent mid.

I do have 2 targets though, but I ain't sayin otherwise their owners will play hard ball with me :P

Seriously though what does PNL need?

a few weeks ago i might of said defenders but Zac Williams coming on well and stretch as well (though i worry will either keep Def status) but we have been missing Marley for majority of season too

mids have been tested with Swan and hodge out but mckenzie & keays are there not great of course but showing signs

Fwds once again are our strong suit at times it seemed to struggle but in recent weeks our revivial is down to our fwds stepping up

so for us i think a lot of it will be too see how the young ones and older ones finishes off the year respectively

Our forward line needs bolstering. And, with Matt Dea sadly not being able to stay on next season unless we draft him we might need another back. Although Mills as a back is tasty next year.

But, to be honest our young talent across all lines is pretty good - it's more a matter of time to waiting for them to come on (and hopefulyl all develop like Lachie Hunter).

Sure I do :P I want almost every melbourne player haha, but my self-imposed ban from last year has worked really well for me and I plan for that to continue...

... except for one player. Then I swear I'm done!
