Jack Steven always has a pretty trash ratio - 111:99 this year - but Ross has outdone him.

So frustrating when they're in your SC side. You check match day FF, get stoked that they're at the top only for the SC scores to come in and have 20 points less ::)

Haha I hate this feeling, hence why I try steer clear of those types of players in SC. Main reason I justified to myself leaving Stef out of my SC even though he was in every DT format :P

Thats why I love Rance 78:105

once last year i saw he was on 40 DT and was like you spud but then I saw he put up 90 SC.
I swear Rance actually gets points for nothing haha.

he gets points for stuff that isnt counted in DT

when he gets these he sky rockets in SC while on going up in DT a little

Intercept contested mark: 8 points
Intercept possession: 4.5 points

These make his SC go up without any DT points.
Spoil: 2 points
Shepherd: 1.5 points

I have seen only 1 Saints game this year and Ross didn't do much. I'm guessing he gets a lot of uncontested possession and can't kick. Jack Steven is an abysmal kick so that explains his discrepancy. Possessions won inside the arcs are worth more and I don't think Ross ventures there very often either.

Those scores are incorrect btw Holz. Spoil is worth 1, spoil to a teammate gathering possession is worth 3. Shepherd is worth 1 but CD pick and choose when to award it, same as mark on lead 3 vs uncontested mark 1. Intercept contested mark is worth 5 around the ground, 6 inside defensive 50.

Ross averages 5 tackles so there's 5 less in SC straight up. 3 marks and I'm guessing not many contested or Intercept (9 DT vs 3 SC). A couple of backwards kicks (3 DT vs 1 SC) and there you have it.

Where can I find the rules for attacking etc.  Rules page only has details for resting only

3. You must select 4 defenders, 4 midfielders, 4 forwards, 1 ruckman and 2 additional players from any position, along with 3 emergency players.

3a. Three times a year, a coach can implement the 'Flood' strategy, where they can play 5 defenders and 3 forwards. This has to be nominated before the round starts. Can not be used in finals.

3b. Three times a year, a coach can implement the 'Attack' strategy, where they can play 3 defenders and 5 forwards. This has to be nominated before the round starts. Can not be used in finals.

Seen that but was looking at the scoring effect.  When implemented I had in my head there were some bonuses and penalties involved and that was what I was looking for.  May be wrong though,

RaisyDaisy

No bonuses as far as I'm aware

10% bonus for resting players is the only bonus I'm aware of

We discussed that as a potential rule (which I still want but nobody else is game :P)

But yeah, the only bonuses are C, CC, HA & Resting, whilst the penalties are OOP, late inclusion and numerous non-submission of teams.

Jack Steven annoys me to no end about that >:( I always live in hope he can replicate 2013 where he averaged 110.

If someone can give me all the DT scores, I'd be happy to look at who has the worst/best conversion. Otherwise, I ain't recording a further 5 x 396 = 1980 player scores :P

Can I promote someone to my leadership group? Sandi is still out for ages, Griff has a broken back, Joey is playing shower, after an unmaintainable start Mitchell scores 85-90 from 32 touches. It's Boyd or nothing for Christchurch while Koby is on fire and Gibbs is great every second week.

Ricochet

Poor Pacific can't take a trick at the moment! First Suckers, now both Devon and Laird.

Lee Spurr at D1 is something I will not enjoy.

New York probably had a more valid argument than this :P

You could have promoted someone for Sandi when he first got injured... but seeing as he is now listed as 4-5 weeks away (not the required 6), that opportunity has been missed.

Besides, you have ONE player averaging more than 100 in your entire list and he's already in the leadership group  :P. Who could possibly be a better option then your current leaders? :P

meow meow

Can I change my team name at least? The Christchurch Oppressed has a nice ring to it.
