Feels like World's is a lot quieter this year

Seems like at least half the coaches just come on, post their team for the week then vanish again

I miss the buzz and chatter that trade period brings around here when all coaches are active

Been a busy off-season for me. Changed jobs, moved house - lots still going at the moment which is why I've been around less.

Also a bit less interest for Cape Town this season as it's kind of a mini rebuild year for us.

Some real good signs for us this week with Miller returning from injury and Bird and Acres regaining their spots in the team.

Also really pleased to see Lachie Plowman get a game for Carlton this week. Now to see if he's as good as meow (and I) thought - we knocked back a stack of offers for him over the off-season #NextBirchall

Some more good signs for us with Mitch Honeychurch, George Horlin-Smith and Peter Wright going well in the reserves and Sam Colquhoun named on the extended bench for Port.

Billy Longer is back from injury and Hickey looks like he could be dropped for him if he doesn't perform. Nankervis seems to have cemented his spot as the third choice ruck at the Swans after Tippett/Sinclair while we could see Lukas Webb and Tim Broomhead soon I hope.

PS - Matt Dea as the last pick in recycled draft could be the find of the season.

meow meow

It's never too early to open trade discussions so all you clubs struggling to field a team at round 4 should be aware that depth is valuable. When the OOP's start rolling in only then will you value guys like Garlett, Vandenberg and Reid properly. I look forward to your enquiries.

Which reminds me, there has only been ONE OOP player so far this year (I'm looking at you Beijing), which is a HUGE improvement from 2015.

Been good so far, I wanted him but I already had a plethora of defenders

Yep, same here.

Eazy and Gov in doubt for tonight though, which means we may have to elevate Dale Morris and play Sam Rowe if they're late outs.  :-X

Priddis is our Deledio though, without him we'd need a monstrous game from Jack Redden

Hellopplz

Even without Pridda, you didn't get it :P.

On that note, Pridda :'( :'(.

Haha yeah it seems he's taking some time to fit in. Clearly it was Shuey and Yeoy that went nuts in his absence!
