Rocky and Gibbs played in the same round only 6 times last year. Gibbs won that 5-1.
Gibbs won 4 rounds by default since Rocky wasn't playing, Tom won 10 purely because Bryce missed.

to be fair my point was always you could have got more out him.

he cost you  Gunston + Boak.

Gibbs 2 vs Rocky 0

yeah Rocky not looking great. He just cant get his body right. Gibbs looking somewhat decent.

im not unhappy as Gunston 2 vs 0 Gibbs/Rocky especially when I get Murphy added on top. :P

It's quite a complicated string of trades when you look back on it. Basically for my team its:

Sloane and Roughead for Boak, Zorko and 12 basically
12 for Scully
Scully for Koby Stevens
Zorko and Frampton for Griffen and Corey Ellis
Boak and Gunston for Rocky and Josh Green
Green for Nathan Wilson
Rocky and Sicily for Sandi and Gibbs

So Sloane, Roughead, Gunston, Sicily and Frampton for Gibbs, Sandi, Griffen, Stevens, Wilson and Ellis.
Sicily and Ellis cancel each other out.
Sloane = Gibbs.
I'm happy enough with Roughead and Gunston for Sandi, Griff, Stevens and Wilson. Added depth which is what I wanted to do.

Top of the table clash this week should be very interesting

If we can knock off Cairo, then we're guaranteed to be in the Top 2  :)

Early days I know, but we can enjoy it while it lasts haha

Just ask PNL how fun that can be.

These two trades will end up costing me the flag

Trade 74
Dublin trade: Scott Thompson, Robert Murphy, Nathan van Berlo, Josh Walker + Pick 92
Rio de Janeiro trade: Pick 5

Trade 107
Berlin trade: Lewis Jetta
Dublin trade: Steve Johnson

unbelievable amount of damage in trying to make my team all under 30

cost me 17 points this week and a win.

Feeling better this week with jetta pushing 100 and murphy going down injured

I know, which is why I said "if we can"

No arrogance here - but hoping to get it done

At least Jarrad Waite is due for a shower one.  :P

Feels like World's is a lot quieter this year

Seems like at least half the coaches just come on, post their team for the week then vanish again

I miss the buzz and chatter that trade period brings around here when all coaches are active

GoLions

I bet 4.5 Nigeys that New York's captain scores less than 70.

Purple 77

As do I  :-\ the game threads are noticeably smaller than what they were last year.

I suppose the novelty wears off after a while  :(. For some coaches this is crazily their 5th season  :o

RaisyDaisy

If the novelty wears off, then resign and hand the team over to someone who wants to be involved

I'm not saying that applies to anyone here - I wouldn't know - but it does seem pretty flat around here this year.

Just the usual suspects getting really involved

I'm with you.

There are quite a number of coaches in XVs these days who literally just post their teams and do nothing else. Worlds arguably has the most banter which is crazy considering how little there seems to be.

Ricochet

Its FF in general. Comments have dropped off over weekends. Matchday threads use to have a lot more traffic

Worlds has been pretty good i thought :-X

As long as coaches keep posting teams we can't expect much more. Not everyone can be on FF heaps throughout the week

DazBurg

not many posts from me atm or HP
we are trapped in a groundhog day type scenario
it is 2012 all over again and whatever can go wrong will go wrong

(for the newer guys unaware PNL had a shocking run with injury for the first couple of years and got the unluckiest team tag)

nott hat many injuries so far but bloody big ones

so bill murray broke it when he got everything perfect in his life

looks like we are screwed i don't think we will win the flag
we may be trapped forever

RaisyDaisy

Just because you're having a bad year Daz doesn't mean you have to run away :)

Dunno, just seems a bit of a shame. We've got 18 teams and over 20 coaches but about 1/3 actively participate, 1/3 drop in once every blue moon and the other 1/3 are ghosts

Not much that can be done, just a little disappointing I guess

Maybe we need all year round trading to keep everyone involved hehe
