I'm thinking about bringing WXV Tipping back. Back in 2012, Master Q was in charge of it, and I think it suffered a little from inconsistent management which lead to a dwindling of interest.

Would be entirely optional. It's just if I did bring it back, I would be after at least 8-10 people a week doing it. I was thinking about like having (lame) weekly "prizes", like, in my Round write-ups, say Dazburg got the most tips right in Round 1, for the Round 2 write-ups, I'd say what is Dazburg's MATCH OF THE ROUND, with his tips for the following week advertised. You would obviously have your tipster of the year... any other little incentives people can think of?

A bit of lame casual fun and something else to banter about, and easy enough for me to admin, was just after a gauge of people's interest :)

EDIT: Oh! Could have things like, you have to nominate your "Lock" of the week, and if you get it wrong, you get zero points for the week... or put a curse on some team, and if they lose, you get double points...

And what's that type of tipping, where you have to tip each team at least once throughout the year, and if you get one wrong you lose overall or something?
love the idea

that could be because i'm mentioned as a winner that never hurts an idea :D

That'll be the last time ;)
for tipping or did you just join Holz as co-coach of the Dublin team?

cause need i remind you that you actually joined Toronto :P

haha well i was talking about the tipping but watch out for Toronto ;)

You dont even know what team you joined?

haha na i followed the redraft :P

Then you should know that Adamant is sole coach of Toronto

Roughy gone for 4-5 months and the effect that could have on Gunstons output is a potential double whammy for Dublin

Should be fighting fit for playoffs.

good thing i have Jroo as my F5.

also schoenemakers should be a lock 22 so have him sitting on the bench aswel.

I can't help but wonder if this is the first of a series of unfortunate events to ensure you lose against London in Round 1 :P

Selwood might miss round 1 too.

Goldy up against Sauce Jacobs

and coincidentally Sloane probably tagged by Ben Jacobs

my Hawk forwards coming up against an improved Geelong.

dont worry im saved though. Richmond heavy squad against carlton with the rolling lock out. Huzzah for that

Dmart VC, Yarran sitting on the bench with an E.

Now Yarran is out until at least Round 6  :-X

stuff this

already Yarran Roughy gone and selwood in doubt and its mid feb.

still I have Grundy to cover Yarran who averaged 77 (which is more then yarran)

Jetta is flying so just depends where his role is.

as long as im fit for finals though i dont mind.

this is why i extended my window.

no clue how my young dublin players are going down and the old men at mexico magically stay healthy.

Also, FYI, I'm quietly doing a pre-season comp, the same as what I did last year by adding up the best 15 scorers from each team each round. No participation required; this is just for curiosities sake and the lolz.

Essendon are the only team not to have played yet, so just waiting on them to complete Round 1  8)
