Cairo was also named main rival 3 times, but that makes sense ;) :P

Ryan Crowley first top-up player  :o

Kind of seems a bit weird to try and force rivalries. They need to naturally develop

Most of them are natural. Have to have every team a rival or every team not have a rival. This is just a way to decide who has a neutral game against whom.

Hellopplz

Think at first Ossie just selected rivals for everybody based on geographical positions. But think now rivalries started between managers which is why we're allowed to change up to suit who we'd like now :).

I reckon PNL have two main rivals and both are around where we are currently as well, so works out :D. I will avenge my Champions League loss next season!!

Memphistopheles

We like the African rivalry ... Mainly because we seem to beat Cairo every time :P

Dublin Recruit:

Jacob Weitering: Worlds Pick #8 2015

CARLTON full-back Michael Jamison has not seen a first-year player more physically ready to play AFL football than Jacob Weitering.

"A lot's been said, but he is really impressive," Jamison said.

"We look after the first-year players in terms of loads and things like that, but even off-field his willingness to learn and ask questions and really want to fast-track his development, that's probably been the thing that has stood out for me.

"It's always hard to tell (whether a first-year player will play round one), but he's as ready as any first-year player in terms of his body that I've seen."

The big question is will he play a senior game at Dublin in season 1. The backline is easily our weak point with Murphy and Tmac gone and Nick Dal Santo needing to help out in the mid. so who knows.

I tried to get everyone with a team they nominated, but that in the end was kinda impossible. The match ups here are in order of... strength of rivalry-ness? I guess you could say, as according to each teams preferences. My apologies to the teams I couldn't get a preference too, but that team might become your main rival anyway  :o

Rivals

Beijing v New Delhi

Cairo v Cape Town

Berlin v PNL

Buenos Aires v Toronto

Dublin v Mexico City

Christchurch v Rio de Janeiro

Moscow v Pacific

Seoul v Tokyo

London v New York

Ricochet

RaisyDaisy

All things considering, I reckon that's a pretty good setup in terms of where the teams sit right now and factoring in geography etc

Nice job Purps, and watch out Ringo!  :P

Ringo

Will miss our rivalry with Dublin but sure to continue when we are scheduled to meet. Dublin is yet to beat London in 4 attempts so if Mexico want to know the secret can give advice.

And where the hell is New York some where squirelled away in that far away part of the world where they think they dominate.  They may dominate the financial scene but do the dominate FF and SC we will enjoy the challenge.
