Nup, was expected. We're hopeful that we plays a role this year that sees him D/M in 2017, but we won't hold our breath.

Last year it opened after the rookie draft, so we'll do the same.

I didn't expect Jack Steele to retain forward DPP but vandenBerg gained it as expected. Alex Neal-Bullen is a good chance, along with Clay Smith and Ryan Lester.

Just want to re-ignite some discussion about the potential new trade processing method for next year (won't be used for this years 2nd Trade Period)

I reckon I'll send out a vote once the rookie draft finishes.

Ideas discussed were:

- Leave as is.

- Trade Committee composed of neutral outsiders.

- Trade Committee of 5 WXV coaches (one of those would be me) as voted by the coaches

- Trade Committee of 5 WXV coaches (one of those would be me) that I decide

Those would probably be the options I send out at this stage. But I'm willing to hear more options and just have some more discussion about it, so everyone has plenty of time to think about it and be informed before they vote.
