Why reduce the interchange cap?

Why not just let clubs do unlimited interchanges?

Because the game is turning to an ugly, boring rolling pack. The theory is that if players can't rest as much, they'll tire more and be more inclined to stay in positions rather than run around like headless chooks chasing the football.

If you didn't have the rule where players who go in and get the ball get penalised then that would fix it. Instead of trying to make players tired - what a load of BS.

Players don't want to get the ball because they'll get pinged for HTB, or done for the below the knees rule or some other bs interpretation.

My wife and I are expecting our 2nd kid sometime between now and Thursday :)

I'm taking a bit of a break from fanfooty for a bit, talk to Vinny about WXV or Purps for anything else.
