the thing that ruins teams is no direction and changing strategy too much. thats why redraft is hard as you kind of need to have a strategy on the fly.

Toronto - I always get mixed up between those two sides. Hopefully no more when Toronto goes

Thoroughly deserved 8)

Yeah same as kb, I'd rather be sole coach of a team. Otherwise it'd mean always having to wait for the other person to respond to PMs and stuff, and would just get annoying (for me anyway). And that goes both ways, using kb as an example, I'd feel like as he's on much more than I am, he'd always be waiting on me for responses and stuff and that would make me sort of feel like I shouldn't be co-coach, if that makes any sense at all haha.

Did the hard yards for a good 3-4 years before being fully prepared and committed for the role :D.

Also yay Ossie coming back to a team :D. Also means Vinny can stick around to see the Dillos rebuild considering he wanted to stick around for it.

And re-draft is interesting... Reckon put it to a vote seeing as some here are against it, so some won't say it out in the open forum but may vote against it given a vote in private.

Vinny

Yeah I don't mind either way but people saying that it'll create two mid table teams, I disagree. With a re-drafted team we will be able to trade harder and turn it around quickly whereas Dillos will take longer because there are little players people want.

Yeah but you knew that would happen when you decided to completely gut the team and rebuild  :-\

Ah! Turned out to be a bit controversial :/

Please note I'm not in favor of redrafting just to get a better side (I don't play this game to have the best team necessarily), I'm for a redraft because I feel it gives new-coaches coming in a greater sense of ownership of a team. And we did talk about this becoming a regular thing last year (when multiple coaches quit the teams are 'merged').

We've had new coaches come into bad teams, and leave pretty quickly after it, because it isn't much fun losing every week to a team you had no control of in the beginning, while I think the Rio de Janeiro and Christchurch new teams have worked out outstandingly well (realising coming off a stronger base).

I don't believe it makes it harder for New Delhi - as Purps pointed out on average the other 17 teams are the same strength. New Delhi are in it for the long haul and have previously rejected ideas of similar mergers for them, which I also respect.

I also think it is a myth that Buenos Aires was going through a rebuild, it felt to me more like a move to burn down the house, but I don't believe that was Vinny's fault or intention, and feel we could have a strong partnership.

Ok... think a vote is gonna happen.

Stay tuned!

I'm not fussed about the re-draft either way, and I'm sure my co-coach feels the same.

Speaking of which, co-coaches generally don't work out unless they're really in sync and have ease of communication.

For example, at Cairo: Polo, Dave, Marlon and I have a Facebook chat to discuss everything and talk shower (plus Dave, Marlon and I all coach in BXVs too) so that makes everything much easier for us. Not to mention that Polo and I are pretty laidback and he's happy for me to be the forum active side of our co-coaching duo.

But yeah, as long as we get good and active coaches on board, everything will be fine.

It depends on people.

If your stubborn have a bit of an ego and think your correct all the time you need to do it alone.
