You want to see caps?

I'LL SHOW YOU CAPS!!!!!

Memphistopheles

By my calculations we ended up on 33,107.

Substantially over the cap.

Holz

Looks like there are no caps this year.

Great decision purp.

Well, it was a disappointing year for Cape Town but, there were plenty of positives to take out of it.

We've pretty much completely rebuilt the squad in two season, going from a team with a great starting XV and no depth to a side with fantastic depth but a little lacking in Starting XV guns.

We had five players average 98 or higher (Martin, JPK, Blicavs, Cotchin and Higgins) but, then there was a substantial drop off with the next best player (Hawkins) averaging just under 82.

We had 42 out of 46 players on our list play an AFL game this season which is great news for the future.

None of our players are over 30 and a lot are in the 19-23 range which means there's plenty of improvement to come.

does that mean you want to trade one of your big 5 for a couple 90+ guys or whats the goal?  Having two dominant rucks is big plus

Damn, we have a fair way to go. Ok, boys like Conca, Trengove, Mullett, ZWilliams and co who have missed large chunks of this year are on the table for those needing to come under the cap.

Holz

which is a good thing. The cap isn't designed to stop teams getting good, but to stop teams having too many players

Nope.

Though I think I did count all points scored by our players up until the end of the current round. Thinking about it perhaps the points scored over the bye rounds in some weeks don't count?

How exactly are the caps calculated Purple? Is it only points scored during rounds when the WXV would have played?
