Love the idea Oz, especially the ruck/pinch-hitter one (similar to what i suggested a few pages ago).

And also think that the tagging thing could work. Something like you could nominate your midfielder to 'rotate fwd' like guys like Fyfe and Deledio have this year. If you nominate them to rotate fwd they maybe lose 5% of the score (unless they kick a goal?) but can't lose 20% due to tagging... But if they aren't nominated to rotate fwd then they can be tagged and lose 20%.

I really like the idea though, a lot of possibilities we just need to narrow down the right one.

Since we're kinda (but not really) half way through the season, how are teams looking cap wise at this point in time?

This will be bad, I need more injuries.

We're going to be way over the cap this off-season.

All players bar 4 (Plowman, Toohey, N O'Brien and Wagner) from our squad have played at least one game so far this season o.O

So if you want some depth Nigey (or anyone else) come knocking in the off-season and we'll see what we can do :D

Yep, of course.

because of the cap injured players will need to go out a premium, so at least thats a positive. (of the injury not the cap, which i still reckon goes :P )

Like he was ever going to blow off such a massive contract.  :P

He has YEARS to travel, he came to his senses.

As requested, below is the state of each team's points cap, both current and projected. I worked out the projected total simply from taking the average amount of points per game, and multiplying that by the remaining amount of games (6).

TeamCurrentProjected
Beijing Thunder 2029231362
Berlin Brewers1754827118
Buenos Aires Armadillos 1702226304
Cairo Sands 1432322135
Cape Town Cobras 2059031822
Christchurch Saints 1935029904
Dublin Destroyers 2005330991
London Royals 2000830922
Mexico City Suns 1943030026
Moscow Spetsnaz 1891229226
New Delhi Tigers 1090516851
New York Revolution 1903529415
Pacific Islanders 1875628986
PNL Reindeers 2070932007
Rio de Janeiro Jaguars 1714026488
Seoul Magpies 1588124545
Tokyo Samurai 1988230724
Toronto Wolves 1676925913

So 7 teams looking to end up over the cap, and just New Delhi projected to go under it at this stage.
