Just 2 more players needed for me to have a full XV of injured best 22 players

D: Pearce Hanley, Tom Barrass, Lachie Henderson, Taylor Duryea
M: Jack Steele, Tom Liberatore, Kieran Jack, Ed Phillips
R: X
F: Izak Rankine, Jack Watts, Daniel Wells, X
I: Shane Kersten, Ben Paton

Anyone else beat that?

Pretty loose use of best 22.

Awwww, just because your side falls to pieces after losing just 3-4 players, don't be a hater

GL, how's yours look? You've been copping it too right?

Logue just returned this week. Garner just returned as well. Harris missed almost a month previously. Mayne and Burgoyne were out for a bit too. Been a good year.

DazBurg

ZJones, JPK, Jack Steven, Cotchin and (stuff you all, this is true) Vandenberg all on the sidelines for me as the headline acts.

Hopefully they all come back when it counts...

Pretty sure there's a rule discussion voting process to do, but Nige told me to post here anyway, sorry if it isn't the right place.

I'd like to float the idea of being able explore the possibility of adding a list management tweak that gives inclined coaches greater ability to react to what happens on draft night.

In other comps, this has taken the form of live trading throughout the national draft, as well as list management deadlines post said draft. I know this doesn't work here for a few reasons (delisted players being available in the NAT, salary caps, list management given we take every player, etc.) and honestly, I'm not really sure I'd want it implemented regardless. It's a hell of a lot of work from an admin perspective and I really like how unique worlds is compared to the pack.

HOWEVER, I wouldn't mind the ability to trade up and down the order up until the final WXV list lodgement deadline post the AFL rookie draft.

For example, if a player I was targeting at say, Pick 7, ends up sliding to Pick 30 in the real draft and I'm confident that I can risk him dropping. I could trade 7 to say, Cairo, who's target has gone earlier than expected and they'd like to come up the order, for Picks 15 & 21, as a very hypothetical example. This raises the potential headache of list sizes if trades are not 1 for 1, so I'm not sure how feasible it would be without being savvy to admin work, but I'd raise the uneducated argument that players who would potentially drop off lists into the delisted pool from this would've already been floated as 'trading for chips or delisting' targets anyway. I could be very wrong on that, but yeah. Also didn't teams without the required amount of picks just take extra picks at the end to top up their list anyway? Could potentially look at pick trades between the player and list lodgement deadlines being 1 for 1 to alleviate admin headaches too.

This would also be different from every single other comp, as well as bring us into a bit more of an AFL realism alignment, not that that is relevant at all though. :P

So yeah, TL;DR what I'd propose is as follows.

- Trade deadline for PLAYERS to stay at the weekend before the draft.
- Trade deadline for PICKS to be extended to match the list lodgement deadline date.
- The restrictions, etc. TBA
