Some advice would be great! :D

DEF: McVeigh, Mitchell, Hanley, Swallow, Suckling, McDonald (Kolodashnij, Fuller)
MID: Ablett (c), Watson (vc), Rockliff, D.Beams, D.Thomas, Tyson, C.Beams, J.Martin (Dunstan, O'Rourke)
RUCK: Lobbe, Longer (Nankervis, Thurlow)
FWD: Dangerfield, Dixon, Gunston, Franklin, Taylor, Garlett (Kersten, Harris-Kennedy)

Cash left: $18,300

Some points
- Like some others, I'm not comfortable on relying two rookies to play week in and week out in my back, hence why a fair bit of money is spent on the backline.
- Really believe that D.Beams and D.Thomas will be averaging roughly around 100 mark if not more
- Now that Bellchambers is out for awhile, I'm assuming Thurlow would be given a go if essendon do choose to play with 2 ruckmen

GoLions

Good defence, standard premos and rookies
Midfield looks good
Don't like Longer at R2, think you need to change him either into Sandi or a premium ruck
Unique forwards, I like it. Strongly considering Gunston myself, Dixon has ruck eligiblity which is good and should be a solid scorer with the Suns on the up

My advice would be to find some cash by possibly downgrading a rookie such as Martin to a basement price rookie, and then going Longer to Sandi

Master Q

GL makes some good points, especially downgrading Martin and bringing in Sandi for Longer.

Not a fan of Dixon and Gunston though...

Def:  Solid, I love your onfield line up.  I wouldn't have Kolo on the bench though.  Too much cash not earning you anything.
Mid: Looks fine.  Thomas makes me nervous, but I think that's just because I've been burnt by him before.  If he can get his body right and find his form of 2011, he'll be a nice cash cow.
Ruc: Don't like the Longer selection. He'll be competing with Hickey for a place in the side you would think and it's not clear the pecking order between those two. I think someone like Sandilands or McIntosh returning from injury or Grundy who is a definite Number 1 ruck would be more reliable.  If you downgrade Kolo in your defence, it will help with giving you cash for your R2.
Fwd: Provided Taylor, Garlett, Kersten and Harris-Kennedy can get regular games, you've got a sound line there.

That Kolo on the Bench is Probably not Kade its probably Jake who got picked up by the cats so maybe needs to look elsewhere to get cash but without the initial in front of the surname you wouldn't know.
Stromg Midfield if your are going to the cash to up grade longer this is where it needs to be found there must be other rookies that get you enough to someone like Sand as R2.
Rucks: Certainly need to upgrade Longer as you need your ruck to be scoring at least 105 each week and Longer won't do that.
Fwds: If the Rookies get regular games early on you have a strong Forwards.

Overall Good structure team should go well. 8/10

Nice but I don't like longer at R2. Swallow to KK and longer - NIC Nat

What are your thoughts on Zorko GL16? Seriously considering him

Update on team;
So I've consider your advices guys and this is my team currently;

Def: McVeigh, Mitchell, Hanley, Suckling, L.McDonald, K.Kolodashnij.  (Fuller, Cutler)
Mid: Ablett (C), Watson (VC), Rockliff, D.Beams, D.Thomas, C.Beams, J.Martin, V.Michie.   (L.Taylor, O'Rourke)
Ruck: Naitanui, M,Lobbe.   (Nankervis, Thurlow)
Fwd: Dangerfield, Dixon, Franklin, Gunston, Karnezis, Garlett.   (Kersten, Harris-Kennedy)

Cash left $37,400

Not set on Karnezis yet. Just got him in there for now. If not named round 1, he will out for rookie and the plan is to get rid of Watson for Pendles and the remainder of cash is used to get the rookie that I don't have that are named round one.
Thanks to you guys, my team looks better than my previous team IMO
Again, any advice welcome! :)

He's a fantastic player, but last year he played his forward role so well that I'm not sure how much mid time he will get. And his forward role is not great fantasy wise, as unless he kicks a few goals he won't average above 90. Ringo has noticed that he has increased his pace quite a bit I believe, so that may mean more midfield time. I'm not going to be taking the risk, but could be worth it if he gets more time through the mids, because if that does happen I can see him pushing for an average of 100+.

Defenders- Good lineup but I think you should take out Kolajashnij or McDonald for Laidler. 8.5/10
Midfielders- Like the pick of Rockliff. Good premiums and midpricers. 9/10
Rucks- Strong rucks. Lobbe to go for an extra 15 points. 9/10
Forwards- Not too keen on Dixon. Gunston is a good pick, Franklin too. 8/10

34.5/40. Quite a good team

johnnytheboy1

I think you should get rid of Nic Nat and bring in Sandi
Also maybe downgrade Karnezis need to see the NAB Cup to see who the best one is.
Would only start 1 rookie in defence. otherwise strong defece
Fwd: Fairly Strong Dixon should improve even more this year expect a big year from Gunston.

Ovetall give this team an 8/10

Its a great team nperera! All lines are looking very good with very little i'd change!

Backs: Love all you picks, but the one that worry's me is Hanley, will struggle this year with the tag most games. The added DPP in the midfield is handy but you may need to play Macca in defence if no one else gets up. Overall very solid line.

Mids: Looking good with all very solid rookie picks that seem to be the pick of the bunch atm with handy dpp. The one pick that is worrying is Jelwood as he has had an injury interrupted pre-season, look to get a Watson/Cotchin/Murphy in for him instead. Overall another great line!

Rucs: Very standard, nothing wrong here or much to say

Fwds: Good rookies and you have 2 of the bigger locks in Franklin/Danger, along with more handy DPP if Sandi goes down via Dixon, as well as a big breakout contender in Gunston. Again a very good line and wouldn't change anything

Overall, i VERY good team, one of the better at this stage with very little i'd change, well done! 8/10
