Thoughts on Grimes? is he worth it at a 3rd or 4th defender option? im really considering him

Ricochet

He should definitely be considered in AF. Has always had the scoring ability, it was just the durability that turned people away. With so many trades he should be on your shortlist

Adamant

I think he is overrated myself, was very average last year even if you remove his injury affected game...

rider

better options with less risk out their, i'd look at Seedsman or Swallow before grimes for similar dollars.

Memphistopheles

If you like burning a trade on him when he gets injured after a few rounds then go for it.

Good scorer when fit but needs to get his body right.

I don't pick players who are made of glass. Except Darren of course  :P

Haha gold, Q.
I don't mind Grimes even though he always burns me. Safer picks out there I reckon.

Yeah. I like watching him play, but not going to touch him in Fantasy. Didn't do it in 2013, but he burned me in 2012 iirc.

2012 was probably his best year  :P 21 games at a 92 ave
If he can get back to that it would be perfect

Kellogscrunchynut

Only had him in 2 years 2012 and his rookie year so I haven't been burned by him. Although I'd be rather cautious in picking someone with an injury record like his, better off with someone else.

i'm taking the risk at this stage but only in AF if the 'YOLO' trades remain ...

elephants

He loves a good game against the Saints. For this reason, I will probably have him in my round 1 side and will re-evaluate after that!

Artax

Reconsidering at D4 now that Seedsman is done. Between him, Brodie Smith, Marley Williams & Birchall
