D: J McVeigh, S Mitchell, K Simpson, D Swallow, M Suckling, K Kolodjashnij (K Aylett, M Fuller)

M: G Ablett, S Selwood, M Murphy, D Beams, D Thomas, S Savage, C Beams, V Michie (X Ellis, L Dunstan)

R: N Naitanui, A Sandilands (R Lobb, T Nankervis)

F: P Dangerfield, L Franklin, P Chapman, J Caddy, N Bock, G Rohan (S Kersten, D Markworth)

Cash: $19k.

Defence:
McVeigh, Mitchell & Simpon should all be top 6 defenders at the end of the year. Swallow for breakout year. Suckling too cheap not to have. I feel McDonald is a massive sub candidate at the Kanga's and thus at $182k I feel is too expensive IMO.

Midfield:
Gone light on with super premo's here bar Ablett, however IMO with West Coast's soft draw early, I can see Scooter dominating and averaging 120+. Murphy, Beams & Thomas all value picks and should all average 100-105+. Haven't seen Savage in many teams which is surprising as the bloke has heaps of talent and will be a big part of the Saints midfield in 2014, I see a breakout year and an average of 90-95 (great value).

Rucks:
Pretty standard. NicNat fully fit and Sandi too cheap not to have.

Forwards:
Danger & Buddy locks in every team. Buddy well under priced. The rest of the forward line is very risky however. I am hoping Chappy can get his body right and if he can, I think will flourish once again under Bommer Thompson. Caddy for breakout year with the Cats older brigade retiring. Will keep a close eye on Bock & Rohan over pre season.

Rookies obviously not set in stone.

Let me know what you think.

Cheers.

Honestly, it looks pretty good. Only thing is no Pendles or Dusty who I think will be top 2 in the midfield and forward line respectively. Other than that, looks like a solid team and just have to wait for rookies to be named round 1.

Fairly even team you have put down not sure about Savage how much he will make maybe someone like Sheed will free up some cash to spend on the forwards would like to see another mid type in there Martin or Wingard good luck

Anthonyyyy

like the team and I cant find much faults but I think you may as well downgrade Savage to probably Martin and then use your extra 100K to upgrade Chappy to Martin it would make your team look a lot better!

also instead of bock and Rohan I would go for something like Hogan and Lennon but that is just my opinion

your team is looking very strong!

can you check out my team http://forum.fanfooty.com.au/index.php/topic,88705.0.html

Def: Look good all premiums will score well.
Mids: First team i have seen Scott Selwood in. Murphy is at a bargain price so this may work out well Savage will average about 80 if he is used right.
Rucks: Maybe replace Nic Nat with Leuey.
Fwds: Get rid of Rohan bring in Lennon. & Bring in Dusty for chappy

Team has a few unique picks which is what you need so i give this team an 8/10

Thanks all for your comments.

I like the idea of bringing Jack Martin in at M5 and upgrade Chappy to Wingard/Dusty.

I will stick with this team until the pre season comp is finished and make changes based on performances etc.

RUC standard, solid.
FWD not sold on chappy, but will go 90+. not sold on caddy yet, but with more midfield time.

Cash: F-All

I liked your backline better with Suckling in it. He and webster have the potential to score around the same but Suckling is far more likely to produce good results. McDonald instead of Kolodjashnij was a good move. Might want to have another look at your rookies; as a bombers fan I think Aylett is a long way from being in the best 22 and we haven't heard about Fuller from the WBD all season.

Mids look good, but I liked the one you had before better. Shuey is a POD, but you'd want him to outscore Daisy by a long way at that price seeing as most have him at M5. Mid rookies look good, they seem to be the standard.

Ryder is a bit of a risk, he'll score well until Bellchambers comes back in and then he'll probably go back to averaging 90.

Forwards look very good
