I have a spot open in my fwd line and am unsure who looks the best option, any help would be wonderful! Mitch Clarke and Rohan are already in my team obviously, and I don't think Fasolo will be right for round 1.
I'm really looking at choosing between Zorko, Pav, Gray, Dixon, Darling, Caddy, Tomahawk, Hogan, Lamb, Lennon and Patton.

Patton is pretty cheap and should be good for 60 every week, then again with Boyd there now maybe not?
Lennon has questionable JS, might not be there for round 1.
I worry if Lamb has solid JS and can remain away from a green vest.
Not really a fan of Tomahawk but I guess he is cheap.
Darling should be able to bring his DT avg up 10-15 points with more experience, this could be his year.
Dixon is R/F which helps if Sandi goes down very early in the season and he is also underpriced due to all his vests and injuries. If Zac Smith is right for Round 1 I probably wouldn't pick Dixon.
Pav seems cheap to me and I think he can bust out another 85/90avg season again but he is ageing so maybe not.
Zorko fell to second year blues, perhaps he will now have a 3rd year break out? Is fit and doing well in the pre season.

Is this for F4?
Yes
Danger, Dusty, Buddy, ____, Clark, Taylor          Rohan, Honeychurch.

Zorko would be my first pick out of those, especially if it's for F4

Ricochet

Darling or Pav for me. Darling will dominate his early fixture. It is a very generous lead up to the byes and he scores heavily against weaker sides. And Pav because he is Pav. Superstar who is having a good preseason so far

popedelio

Rico couldn't have said it any better. Darling should start on fire, he tends to kick bags against weaker sides, though I don't think he will be a keeper. So if you think Pav is going to be a keeper I would choose Pav. Otherwise go Darling because of his favourable start.

Darling has also been training with the midfield group over the pre-season.
Simpson is preaching the importance of players being able to play multiple positions.

Memphistopheles

As an Eagles fan I don't think Darling is a great option. Despite training with the midfield group we need him as a forward more than a mid so his output might improve a little but I can't see it jumping up.

Out of the guys you have mentioned Charlie Dixon and Josh Caddy would be my picks.

As far as I know Zac Smith will not be ready for Round 1 so Dixon should get plenty of ruc time as well as have the chance to kick goals. Also remember he has a killer midfield to deliver him the ball. JOM, Prestia, Bennell, Swallow are all a year older and Ablett is still Ablett. Also Jack Martin looks the goods.

Caddy because I think he is underpriced and he had four vests and a concussion last season which affected his average. If he shakes the vest (and he should) then he will definitely improve his average. I would say at least up to 80 but I wouldn't be surprised to see him hit around a 90 average this year.

He also fits the profile of a player breaking out around the 50 game mark with 40 games so far.

Darling on anticipated breakout
or
caddy on underpriced

the other choices i'd pass on.

I have Caddy in my team and i think he is going to breakout this year.
A sneaky and unique option is Luke Dahlaus valued at $381,100, supposed to be getting more midfield time this year and having a decent pre season.. just monitor him throughout the nab challenge

i actually reckon watts could be a decent option, will play in the guts more this season and I think Roos will be able to get the best out of him. Not a fan of Darling really, not sure he does enough to warrant a spot although I do think he will improve this year.

If you knew Zorko was going to get midfield time I'd go him every time. The problem is Brisbane has such limited goal scoring options they are forced to play him forward. He actually didn't play that poorly last season it was just that he was rotting away in the forward line when the ball was up the other end!

Geelong look to have a pretty easy start to the season with a couple of early games at the cattery so I have Cadddy at the moment, I'm looking out for some more cats if anyone sees any value there.
