Only have Beams in atm
Murphy annoyed the crap out of me last season so I`m a little wary of him
And Daisy still unsure about will be keeping an eye on the preseason games

Beams and Murphy at the moment just see how Daisy goes preseason .

I'm starting Daisy and Beams atm, with Pendles, Rocky, and Sloane as my other 3 mids

Yeah pretty much the same as Lions here, except I'm starting with Selwood over Sloane. I'm pretty happy with this setup.

I'm currently going with Ablett, Pendles, Murphy, Beams & Thomas but I'm not sure if I like it  :-\ Murphy only question mark. From all reports he is super fit. Might watch him in the NAB to decide. I'm a Blues supporter and I hate to doubt him!

Colley Dogs

Yes - have all three. Midfield looks like this at the mo:

Ablett, Pendlebury, Murphy, Beams, Thomas, Martin, Aish, Michie (Dunstan, Garlett)

I was just looking at prices earlier and Carrazzo stands out as an alternative to Thomas. He is I think about 10 k more than Daisy and he has scored really well in the past against his first 6 opponents (Port, Richmond, Bombers, Melbourne, Bulldogs and Eagles). His potential this season reminds me a bit of Moloney last year.

Yeah I think someone else brought him up earlier, Holz maybe. He is one to consider for sure.

I've had these 3 plus Gaz/Selwood and Pendles for a few weeks and I hadn't seen it at all and now half the teams I'm rating on my thread have that exact midfield, bugger!

If he can get you to the round 9 bye without any injury hiccups, you will be able to turn him into say Selwood or another round 8 premium that has dropped in price. The only downside with Carrots is he has had a couple of injury issues the last few years, but if he is good to go round 1 you know he is going to start in the middle most weeks and score you 80-120 which is what you want from a mid 300k guy.

Beams yes and a slight chance of Thomas but not convinced Murphy can handle a decent tag yet so no for him.

I currently have Murphy and Beams. I think its more of a case of Thomas vs Murphy, realistically if you don't have Beams, something's wrong haha.

I have been playing around with my team and honestly considering a ultra mid priced midfield of beams murphy carazzo thomas and savage ... think i am playing too much and need to settle it down a fraction

I think the forwards have a lot of good options in the 300k-rookie priced players and the back and rucks also have a lot of good mid priced options (but not stacked for rookies at the moment), so if you are willing to sacrifice the premos along those lines then I don't see a problem with it. Personally I think the only two forwards I would lock in are Danger and Wingard for the forwards then look at the cheaper guys and in terms of rucks and defenders I prefer the guys available under 500k.
