Is anyone going to select M.Murphy, D.Beams & D.Thomas?

Is it wise to pick all three of these discounts in the one team? Or should I be looking to only two of these to enable me to select more gun rookies at a cheaper price? Currently have all three in mind but this only leaves two spots on field for rookies (plus bench) to generate cash for upgrades. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Is there a risk that we won't generate enough cash from rookies for upgrades by choosing these guys and not going for rookies?

We might be a little limited with rookies this year mate. The fact that GWS and GC now have more settled sides and most clubs using the vest to introduce their kids into the AFL system makes it hard to pick rookies that will play 6+ straight games and score well.

For those of you starting with all three, how many premiums are you starting in the midfield and which ones are you starting?

I have Ablett and Pendlebury and am tossing up including D.Swallow for DPP into the backs. Thus leaving two on field places for rookies, one of which is J.Martin, the other is yet to be decided. D.Garlett on the bench for for forward DPP, other is TBD.

Ok that seems reasonable.. I'm thinking I'll start Beams & Murphy along with Pendles, Cotchin and maybe Rocky, but have been trying to fit Thomas into my side as well with no luck...

Thinking if I wanted to start Thomas, I'd have to trade Cotchin -> Daisy and Pendles or Rocky up to GAJ, too risky otherwise..

At the moment (for DT) mine is:

Pendles, Cotchin, Fyfe, Beams, Murphy, J.Martin, L.Dunstan, D.Garlett (O'Rourke, N.Gordon)

Not sure if it's a bit too weak at the moment with the two rookies on field although I expect those rookies I've got in there to be decent value and should get games.

I think that is my issue, I fear that there are rookies which I will miss out on that will make more cash than these guys. The trade off is a possible better initial return from them in the points tally. My gut feel is that if they are fit and ready to rock that I have to pick them, but they just have a lower ceiling in cash generation I guess?

ATM Have Ablett, Barlow, Murphy, D Beams, D Thomas, J Martin, V Michie, J Polec, L Dunstan and D Garlett. The first four are nearly written in blood barring suspension and injury. Cheers.. ;)
