I have noticed Joel Bowden has not been selected on many of the DT's that have been listed here.

Bowden has averaged 90+ in nearly the past decade, and with Richmond due for a BIG 2009 SEASON (apparently), he should pickup alot of disposals.

And also with the "Guru Projection" estimating Bowden for 115DT, I would have thought he is A MUST for any competitive team, or am i missing something?

IMO, he is a DEAN COX in defence...

And thats my two cents/

hard to argue with your logic based on historical data, but there has been some talk of Richmond playing him further up the ground this season, that being the case, he won't be getting the cheap stats linking up down back, maybe that could be Raines / McMahon etc, guess we'll soon find out.

Joel Bowden is not actually a good player as demonstrated by his dropping last year.

He has been a good DT player because he is the player most prone in the league to get cheap marks/kicks in unimportant situations.

These are the reasons his price will decrease this year:

-With richmond improving there will be many other options for ball use rather than always looking for bowden in back half

-Richmond played him forward a lot more last year and IMO that will result in less points

-Rolling zones will make it more difficult for players to constantly pickup cheap points.

and thats my 5 cents (my opinion is worth more)

appreciate the advise gents.

And thats my two cents worth.

My $2.50 is that richmond are going to be much less reliant on his disposal from halfback so he may float around the wing or up to half forward again. Oh and the midfield numbers (disposal) in an improved year will probably have a detremental effect on his 90+scores with the Foley and Raines handball frenzy the most popular route out of defence. Ps. He cost me big last year, I'm a little bitter.
