Buddy, has something to prove to his team mates and the footy public. And that is that he is more than worth his current contract, and reckon he'll do that very easily. Would envisage a 115 - 125 average this year.   :) :)

Wow that's generous! Agree with ur points about proving points! But he could do that by playing his role well, have an impact and scoring 90-100 SC points instead? remember that he's sharing a forward line with Goodes and Tippett. Oh well we'll see soon- I'm probably gunna go with Pav and can't fit buddy in as well.

125 haha. Oh mate.
Buddy will b around 100-105 which should still put him around the top 6.
Still haven't made my mind up on him

pav, hes a great mark, and generally a great kick (last years GF would make you think otherwise)
buddy has tippet, goodes, pyke trying to rest up there prob, but i have a feeling im missing a big name up forward

pav we know what to expect, anywhere around the 90-100ppg most weeks. but i think buddy being a lock wont be known till round 1

Finally something that doesn't sound like you're trolling ahah. I agree with your post on Pavlich though 100%, but I do think Buddy is a lock come Round 1.

Not sure the other guys in the fwd line will effect him that much. Everyone forgets he has played most of his time with Roughie sitting next to him the same as Tippett will be.

Av was 115 and 110 in 2012 and 2011. Last year didnt have his head in the game and still avg 90

110+ is almost a given.

He should be the first player locked into your team.

Dayze

The hawks didn't have any huge midfield scorers stealing slices of the 3300 pie tho.
Sydney have jack hanners Jpk mcveigh Parker okeefe and Mitchell who could all potentially average 100.
There is not enough points to go around.
Buddy will go well and get back to near his best at Sydney, but it won't translate into his sc scores.
105 for me.
No offense Sydney rox. But everyone of ur Sydney predictions comes with a 10% inflation.

Ricochet

Just on the whole Sydney players scoring better than Hawks players and stealing points off Buddy....

In 2011 Buddy went 110. Others went...
Mitchell 113
Hodge 106
Birchall 94
Roughead 101
Rioli 99
Sewell 95
Lewis 90
Suckling 90

Compared to the main Sydney guys from this year
Jack 109
JPK 105
McVeigh 105
Hannebery 95
TMitch 86
Goodes 85 (can be a 95+ player easily though)
Malceski 90
Tippett 90

Not much difference there

Also add that Bolton has retired, Mumford gone and White also gone. They will be replaced with Buddy, rookies or other players will step up but it does mean more points to share around.

Dayze

Interesting ricco.
Did you have any Sydney players last season?
Did u ever get the impression they were taking points off each other?
I did...
What do u think buddy will average? I think 105 is very reasonable
