Would you care to explain? or are you just a troll?

Hey hoon

team looks really good, and nice bye structure too. Only think I have to say is Clark doesn't seem like he will start round 1. Plenty of options there though, Fasolo, Rohan, Bock, Kersten.

hoon1

Cheers GCSkiwi yeah clark will be touch and go, probably wouldn't go rohan as his not usually fantasy relevant even on a good games its 10 touches and a few goals so fades in and out, I think bock is way past it but yeah id probably look at fasolo, higgins if he makes round one, hogan who is back in full training, kersten is very cheap but ill wait on NAB cup as I don't know much about him or what role he will play.

Strong team mate only problem is Nic Nat too expensive and think having the either lobbe or grundy in ruck would allow more room to upgrade in the forward line for someone better then Clark but other then that nice solid team mate.

Can you rate my team please

Thanks for your comment nightwalker but as far as I am concerned Lobbe although he finished strong is still unproven, and grundy being asked to shoulder all the ruck could break down or have second year blues. Not to mention that you must start with at least one premium ruck. However in saying that I have had a tinker and I have chosen to swap him for Leuy and to swap Clark for Hogan, with grimes upgraded to simpson who is consistent as a sunrise. Now before the Hogan injury spiel arises I must say he is back in full training and depending on clark and dawes he would cop the third defender and could mean he could have a similar impact to jack darling.

My new team is:

Def: McVeigh, Mitchell, Simpson, Swallow, Suckling, McDonald (Fuller, Cutler)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Murphy, Beams, Thomas, Martin, Ellis, Dunstan (Taylor, Orourke)
Ruck: Leuenberger, Sandilands (Nankervis, Thurlow)
For: Dangerfield, Martin, Franklin, Pavlich, Hogan, Garlett (JKH, Honeychurch)

Money Remaining: $1,000

Do you think this improves the team

Finally someone agrees with me on Lobbe! He's a burnman!!!!

hoon1

Bloody oath willsy I don't understand the hype one bit, I mean he hit what 4 tonnes last year???

hoon1

Or this team 2?

Def: McVeigh, Mitchell, Birchall, Atley, Suckling, McDonald (Fuller, Cutler)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Murphy, Beams, Thomas, Martin, Ellis, Dunstan (Taylor, Garlett)
Ruck: Leuenberger, Sandilands (Nankervis, Thurlow)
For: Dangerfield, Martin, Franklin, Pavlich, Hogan, Rohan (JKH, Impey)

Remaining $500

Im worried about 3 hawks defenders but wanted to squeeze rohan in and simpson I deemed expendible

hoon1

Hi guys I have another team for you that Im quite happy with

Def: McVeigh, Mitchell, Hanley, Watts, Suckling, McDonald (Fuller, Cutler)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Murphy, Beams, Thomas, Martin, Orourke, Dunstan (Taylor, Garlett)
Ruck: Leuenberger, Sandilands (Nankervis, Thurlow)
For: Dangerfield, Martin, Franklin, Pavlich, Fasolo, Rohan (JKH, Impey)

Remaining $2,900

Now I know that Wattsy is a sore point with some people but with more game time in the middle and paul roos to help shape him, plus excellent disposal and marking ability over other midfielders I am expecting watts to exceed the 86 average he had in 2012 and to break into the 90's. The other option was swallow but could not afford him however both are an upgrade on atley. I believe this will be jacks year and will be a good POD compared to swallow!

What do you think of the team? Any thoughts or criticisms would be greatly appreciated

I see no problem in this team. I'd just wait until NAB matches to see how Watts does play now. I hope he turns good (Not even a Dee's supporter) because he's copped a lot of shower. Other then that the team looks good, just need to watch for what rookies will play R1!

I've had a bit of a fiddle and have looked at some potential PODs and would love to hear some thoughts:

Def: McVeigh (FWD), Mitchell (FWD), Hurn, Watts, Suckling, Kolojashnij (Fuller, Cutler)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Ziebel, Beams, Vince, Toumpas, Martin, McDonald (DEF) (Taylor (FWD), Dunstan)
Ruck: Grundy, Sandilands (Nankervis, Thurlow)
For: Dangerfield (MID), Martin (MID), Franklin, Pavlich, Rohan, JKH (Garlett (MID), Impey)

Remaining $8,900

Vince I believe will be the man to get the ball to for melbourne and has a great kick to handball ratio. Ziebel is an absolute bull and I believe that this will be the year that he goes for a good player to an out and out superstar. Hurn has a soft early draw and I believe will return to premium status. Watts with more midfield time should get more disposals and more opportunities to use his excellent skills plus should have the advantage in most marking contests. Toumpas is the big breakout this year

What are your thoughts?

hoon1

I just noticed that ziebel has the same bye as gaz pendles and beams, so id swap kolo to tippet and ziebel to kieren jack.

Def: McVeigh (FWD), Mitchell (FWD), Hurn, Watts, Suckling, Tippet (Fuller, Cutler)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Jack, Beams, Vince, Toumpas, Martin, McDonald (DEF) (Taylor (FWD), Dunstan)
Ruck: Grundy, Sandilands (Nankervis, Thurlow)
For: Dangerfield (MID), Martin (MID), Franklin, Pavlich, Rohan, JKH (Garlett (MID), Impey)

Remaining $6,500

I like this team much better than your latest to be honest. Think it's superior across Defense, Ruck and Midfield, with only marginal loss in the midfield:

Hanley>Hurn
McDonald>Tippet
Murphy<Jack
Thomas>Vince
Berger>Grundy
Fasolo>Impey

I can see you've shuffled a bit to make full use of DPP but I think the team as a whole has suffered as a result.
