SYDNEY Swans great Jude Bolton believes Gary Rohan will emerge and stamp himself as one of the most exciting players in the AFL in 2014.

"Gary's a phenomenal talent. It was great to see him exposed to footy again last year. He's been around for a while, but he's really matured as a player," Bolton said.

yeah cant wait to see the Rooster out there in 2014. I think he might start off in the vest and explode to be a full time player (no vest) by round 5

Master Q

Popular pick with a lot of fantasy coaches. Not in my team just yet.

Dont know if he is fantasy material this year?

Don't know if he ever will be. This year's the year for it i'd say though at that price.

For his price very hard to pass on ;)

its not if he plays, but where/how he scores in the NAB that will determine if I take the punt

I think it's a combination of that, and what other forward rookie options are available this year. It's looking pretty bare at this stage, so Rooster might be a must have.

for me Franklin and Parker are locks, so he is going to have to do something to show me he can earn enough cash before round 10 before I can lock him in.

In SC, he will average 65-75 IMO at most. So I don't think you would love that on your field so you would look for extra cash for Bock, Fasolo or Higgins but you can't have a 170k player on the bench. It's a no for me I think.

I'd rather have a 170k player averaging 70 on the bench than someone priced 118k not playing at all. It depends on the amount of rookies named up front round 1.

Vinny

Yeah you are right but I'm just assuming that there are but yeah, haha.

McBean, Kersten, JKH, Garlett and Honeychurch would be the front runners to Play

As much as I love Rohan, i'd prefer to take his best mate Lamb. Around 200k in SC but will get plenty of game time in an inexperienced GSW outfit.
