There's two players the Metal are equally interested in.

One for the now and a semi-decent future and one who won't get a single game this year, but will be for the future.

I'm not sure whether the one for the now will actually get a game for the Metal, but he could be a very nice pickup.

Problem is, they'll both be taken by our next pick, so I have to select one. I think I'll go the gun 22yo kid as I'm very surprised he's still available all the way out here

If you really needed a ruck then why didn't you take Pyke? Will be the #1 ruck for Sydney whereas Nicholls may not even be in the best 22 when Smith returns.

He should start this year while Smith recovers but a Smith/Dixon combo seems more likely going forward for GC than a Nicholls/Dixon one. Also Nicholls has had his own issues with injuries in the past.

Pyke meanwhile is pretty much guaranteed the #1 ruck spot at the Swans barring injury.
