I've heard good things about Django Unchained - what's it about, and would people recommend it?
It's pre-civil war America where Django and his wife are separated to be sold to separate owners for slavery. Django is however saved by a German dentist and eventually they go to get Django's wife back from her new owner (DiCaprio).

I recommend it. Excellent performances from all involved, especially Leonardo.

Director Quentin Tarantino is my favourite director of all time. He has a very unique way of making his films though and it's not everyones cup of tea. I also recommend Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill vol 1 + 2 and Inglorious Basterds if you like Django.

I saw "Inside Llewyn Davis" on Tuesday night whilst in Melbourne. Really adored it. A few blemishes but overall a really enjoyable yet thought provoking film. 9.2/10

I just want to go out and watch every single episode she is ever in on Neighbours.

Hugh Hefner wants her to pose nude for Playboy. :P

Edit: She is in 311 episodes of Neighbours i don't think i would survive past 10  ::)

Apparently Leonardo got her so excited in their sex scenes he had to cut one half way through hahaha. What a man.

hey guys, didnt even know there was a section like this on here... went a bit mental watching movies the last month.

Wolf On Wall Street - 8.95/10
Really enjoyed this movie, it went at a good pace, not once did it feel lacking.
acting was very good by everyone, didnt even realise it went for nearly 3 hours.
Margot Robbie is hot as f*ck.

Fruitvale Station - 6/10
it was average, slow paced story, acting wasnt that great.
didnt really draw me into the movie... slightly overrated movie.

DALLAS BUYERS CLUB - 7/10
very well acted by all, i can understand why Mcconaughey and Leto won their awards
but yeah the film wasnt that great

12 Years As A Slave - 7/10
TBH its on the average side, story was ok, it moved at a slow pace, and then just ended.
the acting was ok, not great. i guess i was expecting more from such a highly rated movie.
let down

The Hobbit - The Desolation Of Smaug - 8.7/10
enjoyed it, but i also enjoyed all the LOTR's and The Hobbit.
i didnt feel at all that it dragged, it went at a decent pace through out the movie.
cant wait for the next one.

American Hustle - 8/10. Solid movie, well acted with a decent story.
All the actors/actresses were solid. no one really lacked.
Acting wise i love Adams as a lead actress, but twice now (this movie & Man Of Steel) i dont think she's pretty enough as a leading lady and there isnt much chemistry between her and the leading men.
Hope that changes soon. Lawrence HOT, even as a sloppy housewife mole.

Anchorman 2 - 7/10. Had a lot of one liners that made me laugh. Not as good as the 1st.
typical stupid humor, but once again Apatow/Ferrell make it work. enjoyed it quite alot.

Gravity - 8.5/10
it was a very solid movie, Bullock was great, and even though i dont like Clooney he did a good job too.
its hard to explain, it wasnt like there was much going on but what was going on kept me glued in my seat.
i would definitely watch it again.

Mandela Long walk to freedom - 7/10
Elba done a solid job, i expected more from this. but good nonetheless.

Out of the Furnace - 6/10
was expecting great things from this movie.
I assumed Oscar worthy movie with all it's big name characters in it.
I was let down. HARD. Decent enough story but it was ruined by showerload of minute long "filler" scenes.
All those "big" actors wasted on minimal roles.

Thor 2 - 8.5/10
it was great. slightly thor biased but it was a very enjoyable (love Comic book genre)
nice cameo. frigga rocked. and I did like the little stare down between sif and Jane.
just like the first there were to many funny scenes but it didn't ruin the movie experience.
The two credit endings were great. great setup for the next movie.
the dark elves did not getting enough screen time showing how dangerous they really are.

Pacific Rim - 6/10
punching robots & Giant monsters are cool. but they could have done so much more.
more sword action. gun action. more giant chainsaw thingy would've been cool.
Could have been 100 times better. just a very average movie.
just because it has a cool idea giant robots v giant monsters doesn't make it a great movie.
this is the geeky Equivalent of the fast and furious movies.

Good to see you enjoyed American Hustle and Wolf of Wall Street, seeing them over the next 2 nights. Unfortunately I missed out on Thor 2, but will try to get a copy ASAP.

Capper

Have seen "Last Vegas", "White House Down" and "The wolf of Wall Street"

Warning..!!..
Wolf of Wall Street is a 3 hour movie so be aware.

Wolf of wall street was great and Last Vegas is a funny movie but probably aimed at the older generation

White House Down reminds me of if something happened to the white house whilst Obama is in power

Vinny

Olympus has Fallen is better than White House Down although White House Down is good.

I watched Wolf of Wall Street yesterday and found it enjoyable, started to slow down but still thought it was good.

Saw Thor 2 a while ago but I was very disappointed. American Hustle was very average and all my friends and relatives thought the same. The next movie I'm watching is Gravity, sound pretty good.

Anchorman 2 was funnier than the 1st, however the 1st definitely had a better story and ultimately was a better movie. More memorable moments in the 1st, but I laughed more in the 2nd.
