Watched Wonder Woman last night, definitely the best DC movie of the current series.  Gal Gadot is very solid.

watched both Justice League and Thor Ragnarok trailers yesterday and TBH i was a little underwhelmed with the JL one.
with all that was happening in the trailer it still felt dull.

Thor Ragnarok on the other hand looked amazing. it seemed fun in parts and very intense in others (blanchett scenes)

Went and saw IT tonight, enjoyed it very much, was closer to the book story wise compared to the other version. The kids they cast were a perfect fit and Bill skarsgård was very good as Pennywise

Saw IT today, absolutely loved it. 9/10 for me. Perfectly graphic and scary, acting was brilliant, paced really well for a 2 hour movie. Really wasn't a lot to fault for mine.

Yep, saw IT this arvo and loved it, one of the better horror movies to come out in recent times.  Bit of a Stranger Things vibe, but more likely Stranger Things took from IT.  Richie was flowering hilarious.

I saw IT on the weekend too, very good movie and well worth the watch. Up there with Don't Breathe for me as the best horrors of the year.

Saw It yesterday, was breddy good, about equal with the kids-part of the 1990 one (the adult part of that was trash - hopefully they do a better job this time). I liked how the 2017 one was a lot darker than the 1990 one, a lot less of Pennywide being a clown (geddit) compared to in 1990 - it's a lot better of a horror film rather than a com-horror one, and I appreciated how Skarsgard made the role his own rather than just do a Tim Curry impersonation. The kids were equally good, and I liked how it went into the town, it's history, and peripheral characters/issues compared to 1990.

Haven't watched the 1990 one in a few years though, might give it another watch tonight to refresh my memory.

But yes a lot darker than the original flick, which is a good thing (as good as Tim Curry was), I'd give it a B+ - so basically an A+ for a horror film.

watched a few movies with the wife this weekend....

All Eyez On Me - love tupac, but this movie was garbage. i know more Rappers biopics have been pretty avg but was hoping this would be better than avg. 3/10

The House - was pretty funny, typical Will Ferrel comedy.. OTT crazy shower but it works. had a good laugh here and there. 6/10

Transformers: The Last Knight - typical Transformer movie. no story. lots of explosions. pretty girl. 3/10

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales - i actually enjoyed the first 3 PotC movies, the 4th was meh but this was the nail in the coffin for a dying franchise. 4/10

The Hitman's Bodyguard - it was OK, Reynolds did his Reynolds thing. Hayek still looks amazing. 4/10

Football Factory

Blade Runner 2049 comes out on October 5th i think? been hanging out to see this  :)
