Your Rucks for 2014?

Obviously with Nic Nat not getting a discount and limited trades to be used on injury prone ruckmen, who will you be heading into 2014 with and why?

I am going with Lobbe and Sandilands and that is no secret - Sandi only has to play 4/5 games to his usual standard and he will =be an easy upgrade to a performing Ruck. Lobbe as I have said may have a break out this year.  Still tossing up with the idea of playing Dixon or Bellchambers in forward line with Thurlow or Brown as R4 as added security. 3rd ruck will be whoever looks like getting a game between Derrickx and Currie. With a watch on Nankervis but think Naismith may get up before him.

Yeah nice Ringo. I am rolling with McEvoy + Sandi with Lobb + Nank on the bench but its all very changeable based on NAB form etc.

NicNat + Sandi for me. NicNat for his early draw and he is underpriced and Sandi because he is super cheap.

hmac/sandi/grundy or longer/thurlow,with belly forward & will change grundy/longer for any low priced guy who looks like getting a crack,currie,naismith for example

After getting burnt by McEvoy this year and Mumford the year before, I'm making sure that I go cheap in the rucks as besides Cox there is really no safe premo bet that is consistent each year.

i started with Kreuzer and Ryder this year
Ryder's early 45 and banned for 2 games, and then Kreuzer's injury in the same round (that Ryder got banned)
probably worth the risk,

Exactly. Rucks are very inconsistent and it's just not worth spending big there imo.

Thats why I went NicNat and Sandi. NicNat isn't as risky as HMac/Sandi, has a ripper early draw and isn't as expensive as the top end premos
