Also the reports of so many people who had "celebrities" or people with influence of a wide selection of people just managed to over sleep that day when they were going to catch a plane or have a meeting in the twin towers.
Say I'm in denial, but it's just such an unbelievably depressing thought that I refuse to believe it.

To think that one of the worlds biggest global powers sacrificed the life of thousands of civilians for political gains which in reality, ended in the deaths of millions more civilians in the Middle East, and to then presume that "celebrities" and other people we idolise and envy were also informed, and were accepting of such an act is without a doubt, the most dispiriting, depressing and unfathomable thing to consider. If I truly believed in something like this, I probably kill myself.

It is a truly devastating thought to consider to think of all those lives that have been lost to pursue a greater end is very sad indeed.

Also something people might not really think about is the effect this had on millions of child not just the psychological effect but imagine how many children or young adults that day changed their careers to wanting to join the army to fight back for what they have lost. Producing in some ways the next generation of american solders and giving them an enemy for life in the people in the middle east.

Sure the people in the middle east aren't saints in all of this but they were forced to defend their home country out of nothing more than an American hoax

When you think of the some of the celebrities that survived:

Larry Silverstein
Michael Lomonaco
Ian Thorpe
Jim Pierce
Mark Wahlberg
Michael Jackson
The duchess of York Sarah Ferguson
Geoge W. Bush's nephew

To many details left un answered to ever believe the moon landing was real.

I agree I reckon it was staged as well.
Oh well that's just stupid.

Let Stephen Fry educate you in an entertaining manner.

'We are in trouble as a species if people refuse to believe in things they couldn't actually do themselves.' - David Mitchell

Whether or not the moon landing was real or fact it will sadly never be proven, If people didn't know in the late 50s the Soviet Union and America began to what is know called the "space race" with both countries trying to beat the other to space. Yuri Gagarin was the first man in space. America 8 years lated had the moon landing

The moon landing will always have doubts above it by if it was fake it will never be proven as it has gone down as one of the greatest moments to ever happen in human history.

Mirrors on the moon is proof that the landing occured noz. There is no possible way you can dispute that.

This discussion has gone on for 5 decades and will continue to go on for many more. There is compelling evidence for both sides to mount a very good case.

Stephen Fry says it perfectly.

"The fact is, for every ill-conceived argument that the moon landings were a hoax, there's a perfectly logical explanation to put our minds at rest"

You may argue all little facts about how it was staged, but the fact that there are mirrors on the moon that can be shot at by lasers and rebound the laser back to earth prove that they landed there. There is no argument you can come up with to deny that fact. Or are you going to say aliens put them there? ::)

Noz

When in doubt i find putting the blame on an alien is the easiest and quickest way to avoid any further discussions.

Stephen Fry does however explain it pretty well i used to think the moon landing was a massive hoax but never the less it is one of the most remarkable feats by a human being and should be remembered that way.

Gotta love Stephen Fry. Would recommend reading his autobiography if you have time. Very interesting read :)

One thing for sure, the South Part episode on this topic with the Harvey brothers, one of my favourites ;D

All I remember is I was watching Talking Footy, then they cut to this story I thought , oh ok. Then they never returned to Talking Footy, I was displeased and went to bed :'(

Theres actually ZERO proof that we DIDNT go to the Moon.  China and India have both had orbiters around the Moon over the decades, all the equipment at all of the landing spots has been observed...
Trust me we went to the Moon,, evidence proves it.. thats not a conspiracy..

They have done it before, they will do it again..  A humans life does have a price tag (ask an insurance company).
Surely a thousand lives is nothing really..   More people die in Africa from 'Curable' diseases every week.

9/11 was obviously a ploy by the government to increase traffic on the internet, and it's working.
