I apologise guys for this not being supercoach related, but I am just after some advice. (it is a little i guess)

I am from Perth and I won the PerthNow Supercoach prize of $5000 last year. As a reward I am heading to Melbourne for the Anzac weekend for the anzac game and then the eagles blues game on the saturday with a bunch of mates and later in the year the Grand Final (never been to melb for footy before)

I am presuming that ANZAC Day tickets are hard to get their hands on? I am not really interested in the packages that are advertised because I have a place to stay over there already. I also want good seats not the crap ones way up the top. Anyone have any info on how tickets are allocated or how to get ya hands on them? I have mates in Perth that are both essendon and collingwood members so duno if that can help me in getting tickets. I prob wanna buy like 10 tickets for my mates and I.

Any of you buys have some advice for me that would be awesome :) Thanks

Anyways, anyone that has any advice for me on how to go about securing them

Tickets to all events at the MCG are sold through Ticketek , the contracted ticketing agent for the stadium.

The MCG has a total capacity of 100,024 (consisting of 95,000 seats and approximately 5000 standing room spaces).

Most events have a seating configuration that allows for patrons to pre-purchase reserved seats to guarantee entry to the event. Any unsold seats are then available on the day of the event at the gate until sold out.

Tickets sold at the venue on event days from the public gates are sold as general admission tickets on a "first-in, best-dressed" basis.

On some occasions, such as the annual Anzac Day AFL match on April 25 and the AFL Grand Final, all seats are pre-sold as reserved seats and are all allocated prior to the event. This website will provide updates for each event.
