Now we have limited trades again are guys like Sandi, Higgins, Clarke, HMac, Bock and co irrelevant or are you still considering them?

Vinny

I really don't wanna pick Sandi at all but under 300k I think you have too. Clark would probably be the only other one from that list for me.

Ricochet

Yeh I think I'll only really consider Sandi, Clarke and Higgins.

Ringo

May also consider Bock if he is named for Round 1 If he can average 70/80 for 5 games which he is capable of handy price increase and nice upgrade to a prem.
With a lack of obvious forward prems this year, apart from Danger and Martin,  Higgins, Clark or Bock gives us the opportunity to wait a few weeks and observe who is firing and a nice upgrade imo.

nas

Do you throw Daisy Thomas on that list also?

Vinny

I am locking in Daisy mate, he should go nicely next year.

Adamant

I think guys like Waters, Grimes etc are risks as you'd be picking them as premiums and would be looking to hold onto them all year. If they go down, you're wasting a trade to sideways them.

But with the really cheap guys (Sandi, HMac, Bock etc) there isn't as much risk as you would be intending to upgrade them at some point anyway.

Zero bias :P

Picking the Beams' if they count as injury prone (Claye probably does) and Suckling.

Vinny

Haha would have picked him at the Pies too.

Football Factory

Sandi im willing to take a risk on but it scares me a little  ;D

Clarke is in my team at the moment because he is very good value and just needs to string 6-7 games together.

Higgins ..  :o

H.Mac is in the same boat as Sandi for me, it's one or the other, suicide to start both in Real DT  imo

H.Mac and Sandi will be managed/rested just hope they get enough games into them early so we can upgrade.

Bock.. always used to be okay from memory ? broke his leg and seems like he will be right to go this year after a long spell.

With 30 trades only  :)  probably wont be a good idea to go with too many of them.

jimmytigs

clark probably wont make my 30 but he might, the rest mentioned are all in if playing rd 1 & throw in xavier ellis as well.with the new price structure(assuming this comp goes the same way as the other 2)making the boyds & hogans & martins not acceptable any more along with a tonne of others, its these guys that must fill the void,i will be running the risk, but to me its a no brainer that a mitch clark at 50k & nathan bock at 127k cheaper than tom boyd,a full forward at a struggling club are far better value & both if fit will be automatic first 18 selections week in week out, while boyd will struggle to get a kick with cameron the target,he will cop the general at some point & whos to say that he will live up to his hype anyway & i cant see him increasing in price at all never mind significantly,im definately on the crock bandwagon this season

elephants

Definitely something to think about.

I had to completely restructure my team when I remembered the trading cap. Will definitely be limiting myself to one of Hmac/Sandi, one of Clark/Higgins and I'm not touching Bock.

Higgins lost my respect when he "injured" himself on the rough Etihad surface...I played on grounds with rocks and potholes...person

It was a pretty legit injury to be fair :P
