Bad boy Lance 'Buddy' Franklin and his gorgeous girlfriend Jesinta Campbell need to read up on the road rules of their adopted home state after they were spotted parked in a Bondi disabled zone for more than 10 minutes on Monday afternoon.

So yeah, basically... Buddy was a rebel.  :P

In fairness, Buddy's time is valuable.

He earns $1m a year, so that 10 minutes cost him $19 (yep, he earns almost $2 a minute every minute of every damn day, sleeping or not, for the next 9 years).

LOL.. that this even makes news!!

Kinda funny. The Telegraph and HS have a very anti Buddy theme in everything they do... wonder if the journo is a Hawks supporter??

Ricochet

Exactly, how did this even make it as news

Buddy moves to Sydney to avoid spotlight.

Makes headline for parking In a disabled car park  ;D oh the irony

This is what made me laugh.

It is a case of no matter where you live celebreties and sports stars are judged twice as hard as any one else. Should not be the case but unfortunately the general Australian attitude is to take down tall poppies and people look for these opportunities

I actually think it is fair that celebrities are judged at a higher standard - part of there salary is contingent on being a good representative of whatever they do (footballers add to club/code's profiler, movie stars add to studio profile, etc)

Agreed, I'd gladly be paid 1 mill a year to do what I loved even if it meant a bunch of jouro's tried to stalk me.

To be fair here, Franklin is obviously in the passengers seat of the car...

So that makes it ok? Its a disgusting act that should see him docked his entire salary for his whole 9 year contract and spend some time in jail. Don't try and protect him MM. The man is a criminal.
