Hi mate, here's my take on your team:

DEF:   Like it, appears pretty stock standrad for January.
MID:   Very strong.
RUCK: Not so good. 
FWD: Not so good.

IMO you've clearly blown the dough on your midfield at the expense of your ruck and to a lesser extent you forward line.
I do not have inside knowledge or links to Geelong FC, but I do not think HMac will be getting a game.  Dawson Simpson will be the #1 Ruck if it, aided by Vardy & Bliclavs.  I see HMac as a risky & cheap insurance policy by GFC. With the risk you've already taken with Sandi I'd be looking for a premium, set & forget ruckman at Ruck #1 (Minson, Nic Nat, Goldy)

In regards to your FWD line I'm not a fan of Cloke, it's just my opinion, but I'd rather have M/F players, they are more reliable, less subject to negating tactics and don't need to kick a bag to rack up SC points (ie Dusty/PaddyD/Wingard).  It is for this reason I'd pick someone like Fasolo instead of Hogan too. 

I won't comment on your rookie selections as we're all just playing guessing games there for now.

I'd give yout team 6/10 at this point.  Best of luck for the season buddy!

Team looks pretty good , rucks probably the riskiest combo going think you are asking for trouble there .

Agree with DCAK, I'd love HMac to get a go but having him and Sandi is extremely risky. With the options of Murphy, Daisy and D.Beams in the mids I'm surprised you're going with 5 top tier (and top price) mids, would swap 1 or 2 of them for cheaper options (I have 3 full priced + Daisy and Beams... IMO you're crazy if you don't take Beams at that price). I would drop Swan for Beams at least.

I'm guessing you're either not aware or not concerned about your byes fixture... you're currently 12/5/13... Could easily turn KJack to Daisy to make that 12/6/12 but it's still pretty dicey if you ask me. But making those 2 changes gives you 380k more to invest in at least a more reliable ruck. Lobbe is a contender for a lower priced option but I can't see him scoring as well as the true prems. Also I would much prefer Roughy than Cloke at around the same price, Buddy now out of the Hawks I think will make for increased Roughy scores, even if only slightly.

High risk for little reward I feel, Beams and Daisy are 100+ scoring players at a steal, so I don't think you gain all that much going for Swan/KJack, and their price tags have clearly cost you up front and in rucks.
