Ablett will go top 3 mids without a doubt. In saying that, I have not had him in any of my teams so far. I think Pendles might just average a bit higher than GAJ, and think Jelwood will push closer as well (may just fall short of him though). There's also fantastic value in the mids this year, such as Beams, Daisy, Murphy; and I also think Rockliff and Watson are great value too. As hard as it is to leave him out, I feel as though it isn't the worst decision as it means getting some of these guys who I think will hardly drop in price at all, but will increase by a fair bit over the course of the year.

I've been playing with my side, and have tried leaving GAJ for a Selwood or a Sloane (I already have Pendles) to use the cash elsewhere and no matter how much the move may strengthen the other line I find myself looking at my team and thinking it looks weak.  I just think GAJ and Pendles are must haves (despite their price tags).  You just now your pretty much guaranteed 3 figured scores each week and have your captain/vice captain worked out from the start.

All this talk about Ablett moving out of the midfield seems ludicrous given that Gold Coast are going to be competing for a finals birth this year and GAJ has a habit of winning games off his own boot when he can get his hands on the ball.

he always seems to carry injury late in the season.

Although, he's like the only non- key defender to play 90+% TOG.

Was only 3 of his last 5, and 2 of them were in the 90's. But as mentioned he was carrying a little niggle. Before that he had scored 15 hundreds in his first 16 games with a low of 99, 14 hundreds in a row with a low of 112.

Grazz

Last couple of years I think Gazza has slowed up a bit but it would be due to the amount of attention he gets when he's on the ball, he's pretty sore by seasons end. This should become less as the Suns midfield improve and demand others get as much attention which is good for Gaj, if he's fit and healthy he will always find the footy a lot lol. Must have in SC.
